The Ed Morrissey Show: Guy Benson, Mary Katharine Ham live from the Republican convention

posted at 1:31 pm on August 29, 2012 by Ed Morrissey

Today on The Ed Morrissey Show (3 pm ET), we’ll bring Day Two of our coverage of the Republican Convention with more of our Salem All-Stars on site! Guy Benson and Mary Katharine Ham join me today to discuss the speeches from last night, the coverage they received, and any breaking news today from the floor.  Don’t miss it!

The Ed Morrissey Show and its dynamic chatroom can be seen on the permanent TEMS page — be sure to join us, and don’t forget to keep up with the debate on my Facebook page, too!

Keep praying that Marizela Perez will be found, and peace brought to her family.

For this week, I’ve changed the front-page graphic to one that I received from my good friend and OOTD illustrator, Chris Muir of Day By Day.  Chris holds an annual fundraiser to keep the adventures of Sam, Zed, Jan, and Damon coming.  Chris, whose artwork has enhanced the OOTD feature since its inception for Hot Air readers, uses the funds raised for only the continuance of DBD.  As always, the fundraiser has many fabulous gifts available at whatever level one chooses to donate.  If you’re thinking about donating at the Jan/Damon level or above, you’ll get a Last Supper Red vs Blue magnet, which has depictions of personalities from New Media — myself included.  Donating at the Anatoly Level will get you a 9×15 print of the artwork.  Dig deep and be part of supporting the one of the best New Media cartoonists in the biz!

Is it sexist to say that Mary Kathrine is HAWT… Well too bad.

Sun Microsystems isn’t happy unless it’s getting boku cash from Java developers, cash the guys who created the Java chat don’t have since they’re doing this out of love, not out of Salem’s pocketbook.

Comment of the Day™, even if I had to correct a typo in it.

Wait!! Ed’s down in Florida during the Great Minnesota Sweat Together???

Isn’t that a hanging offense in this state???

The issue is more that it’s being hosted on my old CapQ server, which doesn’t have the certificate, rather than the Hot Air servers. This is due to the fact that I keep forgetting to address it with HA’s tech team.

…yepper!…and have you noticed the development of her personality the more she appears on FOX?…give that lady some time and ‘their’ tokens will not want to appear with her. She “ain’t taken it” more and more!
The other day Juans eyeballs got bigger than those of Don Knott’s …and I think he left skid marks in his chair… from the shots our Hammer fired back!

The certificate URL whispered that kind of thing. :)

Just mentioning it. That line

is probably skittish-making. I figured you hadn’t seen it in a while or thought about it.

Anyway, on to live convention coverage. :)

Is this their notification of the issue?

It’s just the browser complaining. It’s telling the person running the chat program that it’s dangerous (it’s not, actually) because the security certificate has expired.
