Honestly, it’s not been promoted as an ANTI-Obama movie, which I believe helps draw in the undecideds, and ‘buyer’s remorse’ folks.

Have heard that it’s great, et al, but if presented as ANTI, I’d think you won’t get many in the seats.

Earlier this week, we learned that ABC, CBS, and NBC have no plans to broadcast the first night of the Republican National Convention in Tampa next week, ostensibly in order to ensure equal coverage of both the RNC and DNC conventions (the DNC already decided to cut their convention from four nights to three, ergo…).

…I’m sure if the RNC decided to cut their convention to 3 days because they have nothing…and the DNC had something to offer”’ the networks would do the same *wink wink*!

Ann Romney won’t help Mittens jack squat. If they really want the bleeding to stop, they should bring in another mother of five. But I doubt Mittens will be able to stand being overshadowed.

1. There are three speeches I’m dying to hear- Marco Rubio’s speech, Chris Christie’s keynote, and Matt Scully’s latest creation as delivered by Paul Ryan. Not in there.. Romney’s speech. Putting him after Rubio could lead to bad comparisons.

2. The first two Republicans that most Americans will hear are Rubio and Christie.

3. Having Tipper introduce him did wonders for Gore . Methinks that having Ann introduce might help Romney.

An interesting comment by a former Obama supporter who saw the movie:

A friend dragged me kicking and screaming to see the Obama movie–I was convinced it would be right-wing propoganda. It’s actually a well-made and persuasive argument that the guy I voted for in ’08 doesn’t deserve my support this time around. I’d be interested in what other Obama voters from ’08 think–not people who just want to sling talking points from the right or left, but people who have seen this movie and considered the case it makes.

Excellent! I don’t like crowded theatres, mainly because a lot of women wear too much perfume (sorry, ladies), but I’m willing to make an exception for this.
