People understand the biases of the MSM much more than politicians give them credit for, and letting the cat out of the bag that the President is hiding even from them will generate a lot of speculation about what he doesn’t want to talk about!

Obama’s relationship with the media is a topic we can’t lose on.

They’ve treated Obama with a lot more deference than George W. Bush got.

Do you think that understating important points like the insane Democrat bias of the White House press corps in such ludicrous fashion will earn you the respect of the kook journalism community? Or was this supposed to be snark?

Tapper asked Jay Carney when Obama plans to get around to talking with reporters from actual news agencies.

There are actual news agencies? Where?

Obama’s going to be like the teacher who punishes all the kids in class because one or two of them can’t stop misbehaving.

Right on!

The President is only interested in entertainment rags because they give him the softball questions. He can’t appear aloof but he knows the media will have to come correct at some point to save their already failed reputation. The media smell blood in the water with the various polls showing Romney either in a dead heat or ahead so they have to start hammering the President otherwise their true identity could be discovered.

The hilarious truth is the American people discovered as recent as 2008 that the media were nothing more than lapdogs which is why viewers have fled MSNBC and CNN to Fox News or great blogging sites like this one. At least sites like Hot Air produce content through various authors and sources instead of putting it through the same meat grinder like the alphabet soup media.

The President doesn’t like to be criticized even in the slightest.

All I can remember is Maureen Dean, the beautiful blonde wife of John Dean. He sure was a disappointment.

I loved Nixon too. He got a raw deal.

Hated the impertance of how the media treated him and the family.

I’ll always remember that goodbye wave that Nixon left us with, from Marine 1, leaving the White House. Heartache. big sigh

The White House press corps has not formally been given the opportunity to ask questions of the president on U.S. soil since his appearance in the Briefing Room on June 8 (when he said “the private sector is doing fine.“)

In light of the June 8 effort, the question “Why not do more press avails?” really sort of answers itself, doesn’t it?

I like that movie, but I believe Nixon would have been found out anyway, and if I remember correctly there were other newspapers on the story, too. Too bad…I liked Nixon.
