Proof that many of these union organizations are Democrat Party front organizations fed with forced donations from members.

This President and his administrations have devastated the coal industry costing it jobs and mandating less coal usage. That is against the interest of the members, something the union is supposed to represent, no matter how you slice it.

Republicans and Mr. Romney have done nothing but support the industry and its members, yet we have tepid support from the union as they perhaps hold out for some type of concession from Democrats? Really? Like what- restoring all the jobs lost, reversing environmental and green mandates that have stomped on the industry.

Talk about a lack of principles and courage.

KCP&L (Kansas City Power & Light) just informed us that we will be receiving a 13% rate increase on Jan 1, 2013, because of “…state & federal renewable energy & emissions control mandates.”

And Indiana. After the summer we have had, our electric rates are going up because of coal plant closures. Don’t know what will happen next summer.

I’m going out on a limb here and saying……….

The coal mining industry will cost Obama the states of Ohio, Virginia and West Virginia. In fact, Pennsylvania itself could flip over it.

In my part of PA (southwestern), Obama is causing five coal fired power plants to close within the year. The contracts for 2015 are out and electricity rates are going to be eight times higher than they are now. My average bill – $50.00 will go to $400.00. So, yeah, he could lose PA.

Mitt Romney used a tough new campaign speech to personally blast the Obama campaign on Tuesday, saying comments earlier in the day from Vice President Biden are “what an angry and desperate Presidency looks like.”

“Mr. President, take your campaign of division and anger and hate back to Chicago,” Romney said while campaigning in Ohio.
