I listened to that Hannity interview, and that was the first time that I ever heard Pawlenty promoting the development of American energy resources. He seems like a follower of trends to me.

Good grief, folks, Pawlenty was the first to drop out of the primary race. He is not going to close the sale.

Rubio still looks like the home run, that is if there’s no skeletons in his closet. His only real weakness is he’s a bit young, but I don’t see that swaying very many voters for someone in the VP slot, especially since you could make the case Rubio is as experienced as Obama was when he ran for the top of the ticket. Also, we’ve seen Rubio has been in the national spotlight for two years now, it’s not going to be like Palin when she sat down with Katie Couric.

This is actually important because it shows that no matter who Romney picks — and I mean, seriously, if Jesus Christ descended from Heaven to run as Romney’s VP — the MSM will declare how the pick shows the Romney campaign is in trouble — Pawlenty shows he’s playing it “too safe” and “doesn’t want to win;” Ryan & Christie shows he’s “desperate,” etc. Literally, pick any name & the MSM will come up with why that was a TERRIBLE pick.

And, of course, the ABR’s on the right will like vultures to agree with the left & the MSM so that they can retread all their anti-Romney cr*p from the primaries because they can’t help themselves.

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: It doesn’t matter who Romney picks! Whoever it is will be smarter than Biden & more qualified than Obama to be POTUS.
