I watched a news item video yesterday of some gay-blades (mostly male-male) kissing at various Chick-Fil-A restaurants in protest and wanted to vomit.

The Chick-Fil-A flap has as of Friday really brought the problem with a timid biteless left-leaning Mitt to the fore. Huckabee had an extended piece on the CFA uproar, and I and others are thinking as Huckebee speaks that his eloquence and ideological confidence would be good in our nominee. And just then I suddenly had the stark realization that it was nearly on the day that Romney secured the R nomination that O made his gay marriage pronouncement.
Truth is that Romney’s lack of support for Chick-Fil-A was the spark that suddenly has spawned a growing disenchantment with Romney. You see it something fierce at Free Republic, and here as well. There’s false reports about Romney supporting the Boy Scouts having gay leaders of children… that sort of thing. 3rd party talk is revived. Romney needs to step up to the plate and support Chick-Fil-A. Stop the bleeding.

Our culture has accepted two huge lies: The first is that if you disagree with someone’s lifestyle, you must fear them or hate them. The second is that to love someone means you agree with everything they believe or do. Both are nonsense. You don’t have to compromise convictions to be compassionate.
