1. I saw part of the Piers interview yesterday. I thought Romney looked measured and presidential, yet approachable. Even through the bit in the teeth grinding away by Piers on gun control. Romney said the assault gun ban in Massachusets was the result of both sides of the argument coming together and working on a compromise. Hard to argue that.

2. If the good politician in charge of New York wants to complain about lack of gun control in this country he should stick to his own back yard. Gun crime is amazingly high in a place where there are some of the strictest gun control laws on the books.

To paraphrase Romney, Timothy McVeigh killed 168 people with stuff you can legally buy in any agricultural venue. NO guns. People intent on violence will find a way to accomplish their goals, unless stopped. Regulating the possible tools of their violence is not the answer.

Try adding a bunch of untrained, armed civilians into the mix — this type of intervention could have made things much worse…

They are obsessed with registry. They have tried this countless times. They usually give some research grant to some University to create a database. They make some progress until they get to a sheriff that reminds them that that is illegal and exposes them.

This is the real next goal.

I emailed McCain through his Senate website and told him that I stand with Michele Bachmann (one L, two N’s, three cheers, just can’t forget that, lol). I also asked when he was going to complete the danged fence. War heroes can also be idiots.

If we elect more TP types to the House, they should pull a coup like what was done to Newt. We won’t accomplish the things that need done with chickens in the positions of power in DC.

I forgot to add my own opinion. This is more PC crap. Homeland security admitted that they still let Muslims come here for flight training and they don’t check into their backgrounds until after they are trained. They’d rather grope your grandma.

I wonder why this whole story about Huma hasn’t gotten more air time? the Dems must be censuring it.

It’s not just them. Mark Levin said last night that if Bachmann doesn’t apologize, she might be removed from the Intelligence Committee. House Leadership is denying that, but Mark says he knows for sure it’s true.

As a former policeman, I know that such measures would help law enforcement do its job. As an American, I hope that they could help us head off the next tragedy of this type.

If having been something in the past gives you absolute moral authority, maybe we should let John Kerry decide defense policy. I have information that this schmuck was even a good cop. He may have been a corrupt, thieving POS. Where’s the proof he wasn’t?
