When liberals choose to make their signature issue the right to murder a helpless baby in the womb (that’s fetus in liberal speak), then they have chosen death over life and should live in mortal fear of “Judgement Day”

He is alive before his conception, in the eggs that his mother formed before her birth, in the sperm created by his father. He is human when those two things combine to form a new and independent life. He is human throughout his gestation; his reliance upon his mother for shelter and nourishment is not more or less vital to his survival than his great-grandfather who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease living in a nursing home.

No. We are all part of the human family and no one has the moral right to extinguish another’s life simply because that person is inconvenient.

In bluest of blue California, Penal Code Sec. 187 defines murder as the killing of a human being or a fetus with malice aforethought, death of the fetus results from an abortion performed in accordance with Sec. 123400,et seq. of the Health and Safety Code. Ponder that concept for a moment. As the Penal Code statute is construed, if one intends to cause physical harm with an abandoned or malignant heart (Penal Code Sec 188), but not specifically death, to a woman who just happens to be pregnant and in the act of perpetrating such harm the fetus is killed, then a charge of murder can be made.

Now read the California statue in light of the 14th Amendment to the US Constitution which states no person shall be denied equal protection of the laws. If that fetus is a person, then abortion is murder in California. If the fetus is not a person, the anyone charged with murder of a fetus should not be convicted of murder under this statue since the fetus cannot give its consent to a licensed medical practitioner tto being killed and both the medical practitioner and one who otherwise kills the fetus must be treated equally.

Now try to tell any liberal in California that abortion is murder and you will get laughed at with all the usual retorts that it is the woman’s body and a clump of cells. Then ask then to explain how then can killing of a fetus outside of an abortion expose someone to conviction of for murder with malice aforethought if that fetus is nothing more than a clump of cells, and you will likely get a blank stare and contorted reasoning.

Then try explaining to that same person that a fetus has a viable nervous system and can feel pain. Tell that person as a sensitive liberal Californian the sensitivity must extend to all non-human creatures that can feel pain to the extent that California has passed laws to protect chickens living in cages and ban the consumption of foie gras because it is just too cruel to force feed a duck. Then ask that liberal Californian how can chickens and ducks be more worthy of protection from pain than a human fetus.
