I have no idea what you’re babbling about. I voted for McCain/Palin in 2008 and began as an enthusiastic Palin supporter. I always vote and always vote for the Republican candidate no matter how stinky the options.

We do not want Republican party unity.

We do not want women to vote for the Republican party candidate.

We want Obama to win.

Yeah, this thread has only one thousand eight hundred twenty-three comments on it. That’s because Palin is irrelevant — it’s not as if she can get people to start screaming “STFU you freaking attention whore” over and over and over again merely by saying “I’ve been bringing the hammer down on corruption on BOTH sides of the political aisle, so it doesn’t surprise me too much if I don’t get invited to speak at the GOP convention this year.”

C’mon , this is about more than that.

Doesn’t Sarah always rightfully rip crap like Newsweek as being part of the “LSM”? The question, then, is, why did someone like her, who knows better, proceed to use that medium to criticize the GOP? That smacks of sour-grape, passive-aggressive, McCainesque behavior, and excuses shouldn’t be made for the lack of judgment she displayed.

If you wish to argue that she was acting in the most productive/mature way she could have when she abetted Newsweek as she did, be forewarned that I will derisively laugh at the attempt :)

Anyway, though Palin is right on many issues, we really dodged a bullet when that woman decided not to run for president

It fascinates me that Rasmussen did a poll a year or so ago that claimed that, if Palin were the GOP nominee, fully one fifth of all conservatives polled said that they would not only not vote for that nominee, they wouldn’t merely stay home in protest, but they would actually make it a point to go to the polls and vote for Obama. AND — another tenth of all conservatives weren’t sure if they would vote for Palin or not.

I always wondered where Rasmussen found so many conservatives who could vow to vote for Obama. But I think bluegill is one of them.

Shouldn’t you be at Obama HQ, ensuring another four years of this so you can get your precious TrueCon in ’16? Isn’t that how ABR logic works?

Oh, what are you worried about? Doesn’t the country hate Obama enough that they basically don’t care too much about what kind of person they replace him with? Aren’t they pissed off enough that they’ll overlook whatever flaws Romney might have?

Or are you worried that maybe people actually DON’T hate Obama that much and might be in less of a mad rush to replace him than we think?
