Obama: Ya’ know, people who watch Fox News sure are really “stubborn”

President Obama is in the middle of a two-day campaign tour through Virginia — perhaps one of the most clutch of the in-play swing states — to present his latest talking points to the gathered masses in person, à la hiking taxes on the rich, Mitt Romney’s positively scandalous offshoring career at Bain Capital, and etcetera. But of course, to really get any progressive party started, nothing gets the crowd chuckling like an oh-so-subtle jab at Everybody’s Most Hated News Network.
“So, just in case some of your friends or neighbors or, ya know, Uncle Jim who’s a little stubborn and been watching Fox News and, ya know, he thinks that somehow I raised taxes. Let’s just be clear. We’ve lowered taxes for middle class families since I came in office,” President Obama said at a campaign event in Virginia Beach, VA today.
And of course, when I say, “Everybody’s Most Hated News Network,” what I really mean is, you know, The Most Watched News Network on Television for Ten Years Running. That’s why such smug little “Faux News”-type, “bitter clingers”-esque comments just roll right off my back — the liberals can badmouth Fox and run to their blatantly and unapologetically biased news sources all they like, but we know it’s just ’cause they wish they were as cool as us. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it.
And by the way, Mr. President — as for your supposed tender love and care of the middle class? No, no:
This week, President Barack Obama announced a new push to extend tax cuts for individuals who make $250,000 or less a year. These tax cuts were enacted during the Bush administration, and are set to expire at the end of the year. While the White House would like you to believe this is an effort with good intentions to help protect the middle class, it is merely an attempt to distract tax payers from recent bad economic news, this plan will ultimately harm—not help—the middle class.
President Obama claims that his tax policy targets the rich while offering relief for the middle class by placing a $250,000 ceiling on tax cuts. What he doesn’t mention is that many of these so-called “rich” are actually small business owners. In effect, he is proposing to increase taxes on the very people who have been driving U.S. job creation while struggling to survive in a weakened economy. …
By targeting these individuals, President Obama is not only increasing taxes for nearly half of America’s small businesses, he is also making it harder for the middle class to be able to find the jobs they so desperately need.

This was Dan Pfeiffer’s week in the barrel, like Susan Rice he was given the White House talking points and sent on a mission. He really needs to get copies of these tapes and watch them and see how foolish and unbelievable he looked and sounded. The White House is losing the little credibility it still had by sending these shills out every week trying to do damage control. Community organizers make poor leaders.

Pfeiffer’s statement that the law is irrelevant because the IRS conduct was “outrageous” and “inexcusable”, tells us all we need to know about this administration.
However, the follow-up should have been, “On what standard do you judge their conduct to be outrageous and inexcusable since the law is apparently not an appropriate standard?” (At least in Pfeiffer’s mind.)
What this comes down to is this: “if the Administrative deems something “outrageous” and “inexcusable,” then it is declared such. As we have seen in so many other areas, if the Administrative deems something to not be “outrageous” and “inexcusable,” then it is declared such.
In their mind, the law is – in fact – irrelevant. That’s what makes this situation so dangerous.
It’s not socialism. It’s worse.

Does anybody else remember the campaign in 2008 when Obama defended his lack of administrative experience by saying he was just so smart and tuned in that his instincts were better than experience. Someone needs to dredge up these sound bites and play then with the current line about the government being too large to control and that the White House only knows what it reads in the newspaper.

If where the president was during the Benghazi crisis is “irrelevant”, then he wasn’t where one would expect the Commander-in-Chief to be. So, where was he? Was he watching a movie in the residence? Was he bowling? Or was he having a bi-curious outing with his good buddy Reggie Love? If Obama was AWOL, as I suspect he was, it is he who is irrelevant. This entire stinkin’ criminal Obama Regime must go and now!

If this continues all week, it will be ‘O’ himself doing the rounds on the Sunday talk shows – except for Fox, of course. (‘O’ can do everything better than everyone else as he has been known to say.)
He then gets the extra benefit that no one will challenge him like they have begun to do with his minions.
