Noted monitor of tax returns releases no tax returns

posted at 9:21 am on July 10, 2012 by Jazz Shaw

Democrats believe they’ve found a tasty bone to gnaw on in terms of Mitt Romney not yet releasing all of his tax returns. Given the nation’s appetite for openness about the history of presidential candidates, this may well be a debate we can have, but there might be just one tiny problem with the agent they sent out to carry the torch on this one. DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Shultz showed up for an interview on WCVB-BOS (ABC) in Boston, MA on Monday to read the riot act on Mitt. After complaining about various perceived sins of the rich and Romney’s insufficient number of released tax returns, the reporter, Janet Wu, brought up an uncomfortable point. (Transcript cleaned up for typos, original available at the link.)

WU: Are you the best attack dog on this particular issue considering you have never released your tax.

WASSERMAN SCHULTZ: Absolutely, I’m not running for president.

WU: You are a public official.

WASSERMAN SCHULTZ: I file full financial disclosure required under the law. Mitt Romney is actually the first candidate in modern history to only release one year of a tax return.

We can, as I said, have a perfectly valid public discussion about precisely how many years of tax returns or other such personal documents candidates should release when asking the voting public for their support. But in this case, we have one member of the United States Congress calling out a former governor who seeks to be President of the United States. And if I’m doing the math correctly here, the person who releases one year of tax returns has released, proportionally, more than the person who has released zero years by a factor of…

My calculator just exploded. I’ll get back to you.

LOL!

Yeah, I honestly don’t get why he hasn’t just released them. I could see him doing it to make a point, but that doesn’t appear to be his style. Would be interesting though if he countered that he would as soon as Obama turned over the F&F documents.

Esthier on July 10, 2012 at 11:28 AM

Or… all his college transcripts. Heh.

You guys crack me up with your comments on DWS’s less-than-beauty. Thanks for the laughs!

Fortunately, we’ll be seeing a lot less of her ugly mug (and hearing a lot less of her nasally, buzz-saw voice) soon. Does anyone know when she’s resigning as DNC chair?

Mittens should release his SATs and LSATs and demand that the Indonesian Retard do the same. All America needs is one glance at Barky’s 900 SAT score (if that) and it’ll all be over. I’m sure Barky’s LSATs are even more pathetic, as the Indonesian hasn’t got two brain cells to rub together.

Come on, Mittens. Go on the attack on this malevolent retard! Release the board scores and spend every day laughing at Barky about his pea-brain. You should be making fun of what an idiot the guy is, anyway. The last thing anyone should do is treat the Dog-Eating Retard as if he’s even of average intelligence. Clearly, he’s an idiot. Say it! Everyone knows that it’s true. Even the idiots who thought that he had to be intelligent because he was Precedent of the Harvard Lawn Review now understand that the Indonesian Imbecile is about as smart as a slow 8th grader.

Don’t bother, it’s an irrational number.

Equal to Obama sycophants.

I file full financial disclosure required under the law. Mitt Romney is actually the first candidate in modern history to only release one year of a tax return.

That is such a delightful non-sequitur. Is she claiming that Mitt is violating the law? No?

Then however much he may differ from previous candidates, he, like Debbie Downer, is doing everything “required under the law.”

BTW, ISTR that most Presidential candidates, and Presidents, release their medical reports. Has President Obama done that? I know Candidate Obama didn’t.

In a couple of weeks, all she’ll have left to offer is that Romney has cooties.

She looks like a wire lug nut brush. You know, they keeps the nuts shiny.

On another topic, I heard Barney Frank is getting married, how sweet. I wonder if the blushing bride will let Barney keep the boys brothel going in the basement.

This has got to be the ugliest woman/thing that God ever created. She surely was made from a box of leftover ugly parts.

Why do the dems always have such ugly women, an the repubs have all the pretty ones?

Vodkanockers on July 10, 2012 at 5:55 PM

Ick, Debbie.

Don’t forget her mom and step dad got in trouble with the law for refering city business to her dad, and her dad went to jail for TAX EVASION!!!!!

I don’t know how she feels about it though, maybe some journalist would ask her. Perhaps she has no relationship with these people, but the media does not want to know….

yongoro on July 10, 2012 at 7:50 PM

Our nation is being divided by zero right now!

I actually don’t want Romney asking for college transcripts or admission forms to be brought forth… if “perfect-looking” documents are offered, the Republicans will be accused of being thugs if they try to challenge them.

We’ve already had an “official document situation”, we don’t want another.

Stick to the issues (mainly the economy and Obama’s dismal record) is what is needed.

Seriously though. Name one hot liberal woman. Debbie? Rachel? Rosie? Susan Sarandon? OK Cheryl Crow. But she’s a rock star, not a politician or pundit.

We have Mary Catherine Ham. And just about every woman on Fox news. Sarah Palin and Laura Bush are more of a class act than any
woman on the left. I could go on.

Ann Coulter…

OK Cheryl Crow

I don’t know about that. She’s the one that encouraged one-sheet TP use a few years ago. Ick. By now she must be using her left hand in sympathy with the so-clled Palestinians. And long before that we “caught wind” of a serious personal hygiene issue with her. Smells count. So, hot factor on the left back to less-than-zero. Many many tally negative scores. Rosanne and Rosey alone bomb liberal womanhood back to the Stone Age.

If Lady Bird Johnson were still alive she would have made Debbie Whataman Sch…tz wear a bag over her head as part of her Beautify America campaign!
