James Earl Jones: I understand racism, so I think I’ve figured out the tea party

posted at 6:41 pm on July 10, 2012 by Allahpundit

Via the Radio Equalizer, he says he watches a lot of MSNBC and “can’t get enough of it.” So, hey.

Is there anyone among the principals of the original “Star Wars” cast who isn’t completely in the bag for the left? Lucas: Check. Carrie Fisher: Check. Harrison Ford: Check. Mark Hamill: Check. Now this guy. I’m almost afraid to ask how the stuntmen who played the robots are voting. If I find out that R2-D2 supports single-payer, my DVDs are going straight into the trash.

Seriously, why act surprised when an entertainment bigwig goes all lefty on us. They are, for the most part, intellectual lightweights who are paid to memorize lines and recite them aloud in front of cameras. Anyone with a 5th grade education can do it.

Isn’t it ironic that the most racist and hateful group even has the balls to call others “racist”? Were there any black “leaders” for Hillary in the 2008 primaries?

Why are we even discussing this POS when so called “conservatives” Powell and Rice voted for Hussein in 2008 and will do so again in this year.

riddick on July 10, 2012 at 6:50 PM

Takeaways:

1. He sometimes listens to Fox and other conservative outlets.

2. He was taught by his black/Native American grandmother to be a racist.

3. He thinks he understands the Tea Party having been taught be a racist.

Okay, so he kinda misunderstands the Tea Party, but this man at least tries to be fair and acknowledges racism among blacks and Native Americans.

BTW, my ex was actually a low key character in the first two prequel films. She wasn’t very political in the sense that she was across the issues but supported the left in her country of origin and Obama.

Like I said, she wasn’t very political so I think George Lucas must put the actors through some secret indoctrination process that we don’t know about.

It would be surprising if any were.

There are not much more than a dozen recognizable names in Tinseltown who aren’t in the bag for the left. Frankly I’d have trouble naming more than a handful off the top of my head.

That demographic is at least homogeneously left as journalists and blacks.

BTW, the “Tea Party is racist” slogan is just a variation on the
“Republican Party is racist” slogan.

Jones is spewing the same bullcrap argument that the hideous Janeane Garafalo is. Its based on the timing of the tea party protests. Their logic is that because they occured shortly after the inauguration of the first black President, they must be racially motivated.

Well something is being neglected here. Massive bailouts, including the takeover by the federal government of General Motors, as well as a stated intention to impose socialized medicine on America occured just before the tea party protests as well. These are facts that they would view as nothing more than a nuisance to their narrative.
