Obamateurism of the Day

posted at 8:01 am on July 6, 2012 by Ed Morrissey

Barack Obama hit the road on a campaign bus tour with yet another theme for his re-election effort — “Betting on America.” Obama intends to hammer Mitt Romney as an outsourcer and offshorer, but Drudge noticed a big problem with that plan, via Instapundit:

I wrote about this same thing last August, when Obama campaigned on a “Buy American” theme using the Canadian-made bus. One might have thought Obama would take his own advice, but instead, we have yet another Do As I Say Not As I Do summer tour kicking off.

Got an Obamateurism of the Day? If you see a foul-up by Barack Obama, e-mail it to me at obamaisms@edmorrissey.com with the quote and the link to the Obamateurism. I’ll post the best Obamateurisms on a daily basis, depending on how many I receive. Include a link to your blog, and I’ll give some link love as well. And unlike Slate, I promise to end the feature when Barack Obama leaves office.

Not only that, but Mr. Environmental is flying the bus on a C130 to Ohio today, where he will ride in it to Carnegie Mellon University (about an hour), with Air Force 1 waiting at the Pittsburgh airport to fly him and his bus back to DC. He is being mocked on local radio this morning. I also heard there will be banners on the turnpike that say something like “Save Coal, Fire Obama”. The two groups also have 500 signs made up and are planning on attending his events.

Thanks for making this the OOTD- saw it on Drudge yesterday, and first thing I thought was “oh, earflaps is rolling out the Canadian buses again.”

Can’t wait to hear about this dolt flying to an airport, then riding one of these buses a mile and a half into a city full of people that are just sick and tired of watching him flap his stupid nicotine stained gums.

What a sad and disgusting little charade this phony has ginned up. Does anyone care anymore even the slightest bit about what he has to read aloud from his magic ‘prompter paddles?

I’ll bet even the chumps that voted for him last time don’t want to hear him read the same tired krep for the ninth time, they just want the free stuff.

Go home, lil’ choomie.

The game is over, nobody likes you, and now you’re just becoming boring and annoying. Take your stolen cash and beat it.

Oh and for the record- you were NEVER cool, you jugeared flop.

Also, I noticed a new Facebook ad this morning. The latest is “Barak Obama – Jobs InSourcer!” My thought – “Jobs? What jobs? And is “insourcer” even a word??” Then I flagged it as offensive.

Don’t we expect… how about DEMAND more from our President? When you bet on someone/something, aren’t your fortunes tied to something that you don’t have an ounce of control over?

Teh won can’t even own his own re-election campaign. This is so typical of this arrogant clown to expect that all by ourselves, WE will get ourselves out of this mess he has created.

Like the little man that he is, whenever he doesn’t get his way, he simply dictates via EO. But when he wants to hoodwink people into believing he needs more time at this job, he wants that responsibility to fall back on the American people.

Man up and own it, jug-eared Kenyan*. Its YOUR mess.

It’s not a matter that it’s not worse. What matters is that it is not getting better under Obama when it should be getting better.

Obama needs to be voted from office; every Democrap in Congress needs to be sent home for good. As for the self-hating liberal white water-carriers in the MSM, they are the ones needing to meet a Louisville Slugger face to face.

Great! Obama kept the evil and dastardly big, black bus that was made in Canada for campaigning. A symbol of what? Worse unemployment than ever. No or little growth in the economy. People out of work and can’t pay their mortages, etc.,etc. I don’t see this trip winning him any votes.

Last year I saw a picture of the bus between two fields of golden grain. It was about ready to be harvested. All you could see was the very top of the black bus between “amber waves of grain”. The color contrast was what made the picture catch your eye. Then after looking at it for a while your whole perception began to change and it was the contrast of the goodness and glory of America to the evil, black bus that was supposedly carrying Obama. So out of place, so sickening.

Betting that the stupid and lazy will get out there and vote for him again because of the promised freebies.

Betting the Al Sharptons will lead the cry of racism (if you don’t vote for Owe, your a racist).

Betting Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Adolf Hitler will continue to contribute to his online campaign.

Betting all those illegals will make it to the polls in November with the dead.

Betting the American press will continue to carry water for Owe every day and lie to their viewers.

Betting Hollywood will continue to purport that they are smarter than other Americans and therefore vote as Cher and Clooney tells them.

Betting on Holder refusing to prosecute intimidation at the polls. Betting on not having to show ID at the polls means more cheating for him.

Betting that all the cr&p about Romney outsourcing and being wealthy will be sucked down by those who just recite everything Owe tells them. Betting no one will notice that Owe is also wealthy and can’t create a job, but sure knows how to kill them with his regulations.

Betting some won’t tire of hearing how it’s Boooosh’s fault.
