If, by election day, there is at least one news story of an illegal immigrant who, having been arrested and then released in Arizona, goes on to commit a heinous crime, the GOP and the Romney campaign would be wise to immediately hang that incident around Obama’s neck. Romney might also emphasize that as many as a dozen Americans are killed every day in automobile accidents involving illegal immigrant drivers.

This is just wonderful. I grew up thinking that this country had laws and the President took an oath to protect its citizens and to enforce the laws passed by our Congress. The President is also to uphold any decisions made by our Supreme Court.

Well, yesterday he just gave us all the finger. He is committing dereliction of duty and has forgone his oath, time and time again. When will the members of Congress wake up and impeach him?

What I think a winning argument on this is; Due to lax Federal Law enforcement of immigration laws, all people who look like potential illeagle immigrants are under suspicion. If I was a leagle immigrant from Mexico, I would be pissed and demand that something be done so I would be steroetyped as a lawless immigrant.

I seem to remember a case where Federal officials in Washington didn’t want to hear about some Muslim immigrants in Arizona taking lessons at flight schools and only being interested in flying – not taking off or landing. It might be racist to look into what they were doing.

It turned out that they were illegally in the country. Of course, we didn’t learn about one of them — Hani Hanjour — until after he crashed American Airlines Flight 77 into the Pentagon killing 189 people. On the bright side, he killed less people than Obama & Holder’s Fast & Furious programme.

Don’t think that can’t happen. Under Arizona law, ANY assault of a police officer can be charged as aggravated assault, a felony. An assault can be as simple as touching a police officer while you are being questioned, or even “putting him or her in fear of bodily harm.”

If so charged, do you fight the case in court and risk 5-15 years in prison, or do you plead guilty in exchange for a suspended sentence and deportation? Now you’ll never become a U.S. citizen, BTW.

Obama just made his Dreamers’ situation a lot more perilous.

Someone may have already said this, but this is a very dangerous game Barack is playing — politically dangerous. These Arizona police agencies are going to keep meticulous records about who they arrest, and who the feds order them to release. And when one of those folks commits a heinous crime — and it will happen — they’re going to have all the paperwork they need to show that Barack allowed that to happen. I see a really ugly October surprise in his future.
