Hot Air Survey: Vice Presidential Results

posted at 12:16 pm on June 23, 2012 by Patrick Ishmael

After a long run at the top, Marco Rubio has been overtaken by Bobby Jindal as Hot Air’s pick for vice president. Allen West came in third, followed by Paul Ryan and Condoleezza Rice. Over 2300 votes were cast:

How likely do readers think it is that Mitt Romney will win? Pretty darn likely, actually, to the tune of about a 73% chance overall.

And with how many electoral votes? The average, mode, and median EV predictions all hover right around 300. That’d be a very big win.

Also, the survey’s demographics have remained remarkably consistent over time; the number of voters over age fifty was roughly the same as the number of voters under fifty, and the gender breakdown was again right about 70-30 men-to-women. That’s all pretty standard for Hot Air surveys.

If you’re interested in mining specific stats (the original post is still live,) message me on Twitter and I’ll try to help you out.

Thanks for participating. These are always fun.

You’ve probably never read the 12th Amendment.

Same as voting for Maobama genius, good job.

LevinFan on June 24, 2012 at 3:12 PM

Really? Johnson passed 0bamacare in his state, still supports the individual mandate, increased the size of government, supported Abortions R Us, claimed to have no republican friends, selected mostly liberal justices while Governor, and is discussing saving parts of 0bamacare today? Yeah right! That is in fact the liberal YOU are supporting today, Willard Sketchy, aka. 0bama lite.

You are ready to vote for more of the same liberalism, genius. Good job! Maybe if you could get past the color of their skins and the brand they are wearing you could actualy focus on issues.

Here is Mark Levin from last night. In the first segment he takes apart Mittens’ argument that RomneyCare is OK at the state level but not at the Federal level. He makes a great point about it showing the mindset of how Romney thinks that government is the answer.”

Once upon a time there was:

And for the support of this declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.

Here at Hot Air we get:

*BLEEP* you guys. YOU CAN’T HAVE OUR GOVERNOR JINDAL!!!!

Hmm! Must be another Romney supporter.

Jindal is even better than I realized; have you read his Wikipedia bio? If not, you must. Talk about self-made, up from the middle hyper-achieving, brilliant….Just wow. Plus his particular area of expertise (among many) is health and human services, where he solved seemingly intractable budget and service problems. Could he be more perfect? He’s got the experience that Rubio lacks, the passion that Pawlenty can’t even fake – he’s got the southern thing going, the immigrant-child thing going, and is a walking representation of the success possible in America for anyone with brains and a work ethic. He’s Hope personified. Romney needs him more than he needs Romney.

HA, would you consider banning folks who use that inane “lol” thing in their comments?

My use of the above is solely for accuracy:

No smart alecks please.
