Thanks Patrick.

No Christie. He is too liberal. No Rubio and Jindal as I wouldn’t want to see their political careers over if Romney loses (as VP candidates usually END their careers when they lose).

Warner Todd Huston on June 22, 2012 at 12:04 PM

Safe choice or game changer?

Jindal would be both.

itsnotaboutme on June 22, 2012 at 12:05 PM

Jindal, Ryan or Paul.

Punchenko on June 22, 2012 at 12:07 PM

Thanks Patrick. Can’t wait for the results…

OmahaConservative on June 22, 2012 at 12:08 PM

Why is John Bolton not on the VP list? He is clearly the best pick Mittens could make.

ThePrimordialOrderedPair on June 22, 2012 at 12:09 PM

Your survey looks like a big blank space to me.

Browncoatone on June 22, 2012 at 12:10 PM

Let’s see how well those Palin for VP supporters do with her as write-in.

Over/under 40 write-ins?

Abby Adams on June 22, 2012 at 12:10 PM

An Bush crony establishment hack like Portman or a lib like Christie would be a DISASTER.

Really fine with anybody else, but Jindal is the obvious choice.

Norwegian on June 22, 2012 at 12:11 PM

Jindal would be the safe choice AND game changer, but I picked Allen West, because he’s hecka awesome. I almost wrote in Sarah Palin.

The Rogue Tomato on June 22, 2012 at 12:12 PM

I’m not getting anything, and I don’t think I have to update anything…

MeatHeadinCA on June 22, 2012 at 12:12 PM

Allen West is credible and the only game-changer, imo. Everyone else is just, eh.

williampeck1958 on June 22, 2012 at 12:12 PM

No.

A WOMAN VP is STILL the right way to go.

You want to see votes flip to R ?

FlaMurph on June 22, 2012 at 12:13 PM

Problem with the inexperienced and erratically articulate (sometimes) Jindal is he’s kind of, frankly, the politically correct choice. We don’t want to succumb to that.

anotherJoe on June 22, 2012 at 12:13 PM

I’m not seeing anything except white space.

Flora Duh on June 22, 2012 at 12:13 PM

I think Google might be having a few issues. The code is correct, but we’re not getting a response from their servers.

Ed Morrissey on June 22, 2012 at 12:14 PM

I wrote in Elizabeth Warren, because Romney needs a native american on the ticket.

I would prefer a squeaky clean Gov of any kind that has a personality and a successful track record.

Mohonri on June 22, 2012 at 12:17 PM

Bolton needs to be President Romney’s Secretary of State.

Jan Brewer.
I love that picture of her wagging her finger in Oblowme’s face as she scolds him on the tarmac.
She’d mop the floor with Biden.

Dexter_Alarius on June 22, 2012 at 12:18 PM

I filled it out and clicked on Submit several times. There’s no “ok, thanks” response, so either it’s not getting my votes, or it’s getting several dupes.

The Rogue Tomato on June 22, 2012 at 12:18 PM

First Twitter. Now Google. The Mayans were right.

kingsjester on June 22, 2012 at 12:18 PM

You know how Obama wants to transform America?

Jindal is transforming Louisiana.

Education reform is just his latest conquest in a state that desperately needed transforming:

The ONLY game changer is:

Puerto Rico’s governor

LUIS FORTUNO

It even puts new York in play. Seriously.

Romney – Fortuno is 400 electoral votes

And yes Fortuno is legal to be pres. He’s a citizen born in US territory. McCain was born in the panama canal zone. Same situation.

FORTUNO!!!!! Add him to the list please!

If you were able to hit the submit button, then you should be good to go. I’ll go back afterward to clean up any dupes so if you’re worried, feel free to submit again. Why Google doesn’t have the computing power to consistently handle these surveys is beyond me — or why some people can see them immediately and others can’t — but it’s the most versatile option I’ve come across. If you have alternatives we could use, please tweet those to me.

Ryan = my vote but no enthusiasm or contributions unless he disavows his TARP support

Field narrows to: Tim Pawlenty.

text isn’t showing up, just the comments.

He needs a Washington insider to help build consensus since he’s the “outsider”.

Who in Congress could he pick?

Portman? Paul Ryan?

Is there anyone from the Midwest that he could get some Hispanic or other minority help from so he would deflect the certain “RAYYYYYYYYYCIST” claims (and help alleviate the white guilt that drove some voters to Obama in ’08)?

Is there an ugly female that is 1/2 black, 1/2 hispanic that’s been a governor and now is a Senator in Congress?

Lets’ face it, he doesn’t need another white guy on the ticket.
