I thought Sen. Lindsey Graham was reelected only a couple years ago, why would he be talking like a Republican or even, gasp, a Conservative with four years left before he has to face the voters, what so clearly focused his mind?

I guess when his best buddies, the Democrats, killed the Boeing aircraft plant in South Carolina that got him back on our side of the aisle for a short while. Sadly, if it was any other state losing the Boeing aircraft plant Lindsey would undoubtedly be siding with the Democrats and against the evil Republicans.

Don’t think they wouldn’t love to have an office in every country…Service Employees INTERNATIONAL Union is Obama’s favorite after all.

They organized all the janitors here in Houston a few years ago and paid to get another councilman seated and last week they called a targeted strike. They demanded a raise from $8.50 to $10/hour over four years.

The staffing company fired those that struck and the SEIU is calling in the NLRB. This ought to be good. I’ll keep y’all posted.

DanMan on June 14, 2012 at 2:30 PM</blockquote>

The level of selfishness these unions have demonstrated at a time of economic crisis has been astounding. "Shared sacrifice" my a$$. At a time when we should be lowering minimum wages across the board to make room for more jobs, these greedy leaches are pushing in the exact opposite direction, hoarding jobs from those not fortunate enough to be plugged into their machine prior to the meltdown that they helped create. Time to bust 'em up.

Do keep us posted - I'd be interested to see if Houston is catching onto their naked greed.

Just a piece of the same old-same old. Obama and his cadres weaseling themselves into every nook and cranny of our economy, destroying everything in their path -- kind of like Japanese beetles or Dutch elm disease.

Absolutely nothing is going to get through the Senate until the day after Election day -- then watch how fast Harry, Barry and Nancy start throwing executive order after executive order at the country. Mitt's entire first week in office is going to be nothing but issuing executive order after executive order to cancel out the Won's.

Like the Dept. of (non)Education and the EPA, the NLRB has got to go. In order to accomplish this, we must secure a veto-proof majority in the Senate and a substantial majority in the House as well as the presidency.

(I also expect, a la the Clintons, the Obamas and their staffs will totally trash the White House as they exit the doors. I wonder how much stuff Mooch will attempt to take with her?)

Don't think they wouldn't love to have an office in every country...Service Employees INTERNATIONAL Union is Obama's favorite after all.

I'll keep y'all posted.

Has the NLRB updated its mission statement lately? In case they haven't noticed, we live in a global economy now. They can chase jobs from South Carolina back to Washington (naked politics if you as me), but what happens when they chase jobs to other parts of the globe? Are they going to muscle their way across the Pacific?
