Obama seems to be doing little more than attempting various thrusts on different subjects at this point in order to see which ones might gain some traction with the people. It's sort of like a general making probes along a front line to locate a weak spot.

They seem to be waiting for a major Romney offensive in order to grab what he is saying, twist it somehow and try to reverse the spin and use it against Romney. With Romney being quiet in advancing new themes (he seems to be using Obama's attempts against him at the moment), it isn't giving the Obama campaign a lot of ammunition.

My guess is that Obama probably would have a three-pronged strategy:

1. They probably do have some overall theme they are working on and will roll that out at the convention. That will be their main thrust for the rest of the campaign.

2. They are waiting for the announcement of a running mate and are hoping for a repeat of the Palin affect where they can generate a lot of negative focus quickly on whoever Romney chooses as running mate in an attempt to shift the focus away from Romney's message and put the running mate on the defensive.

3. Wait and see what Romney rolls out with as his main theme and attempt to turn that around against him.

In the meantime, we are likely to see a bunch of thrust and parry on both sides with each side hoping to gain some traction with one of them. So far, Romney has had the most success at this game and it seems that every time the Obama campaign opens its mouth, it gets hammered.

At this point in time: Advantage Romney

Per what happened last week in Wisconsin it appeared only CNN knew what the dems internal polls were showing. NBC let their monkeys fling poo on MSNBC and Fox sure seemed like they were getting the news fresh and seemed surprised by the margin as it developed.

Most of the media got played badly last week and carrying Obama's water has eventually got to wear them down. How long will they keep taking it?

"Thank you sir I'll have another!" comes to mind doesn't it?

Yep, my prediction is that they will create a ‘sexual harassment’ charge against Governor Romney, much as the job they did on Clarence Thomas. Just get one person to lie; many women believe anything another woman says, and it’s very hard to prove that something didn’t happen.

The liberal media would rejoice, and jump into it with all four feet.

Not buying it, even lsmis not that stupid...'The man is a notoriously staunch family man, it would be dumb to begin with to try to invent a story like this...remember the kennedy machine digged all that was to dig about mitt and didn't come up with anything on that front....so, not a chance...

Their only hope is a massive October Surprise.

You can bet that there are a number of newspapers and networks that have teams digging deep into Romney’s and all major Republicans’ pasts, and I would be very surprised if one of them can’t “dig up or make up” something.

That is why I am concerned the we not allow this to be a popularity contest – the media can “fix” one of those. What Romney and the Republicans should be going after is not just smaller government, but cleaner government, cleaner elections, and rooting out crony capitalism. There are billions to be saved that way too!

We conservatives may have lived next door to the Dems’ fertilizer planet so long we don’t really smell it any more, and we are fatalistic about changing it. But there are millions of Americans who have never caught a wiff of the stench from inside their media-enabled bubble, and we need to start changing that.

OK, for the sake of completeness to your list, here is something I am hearing some sources.

6. Think "false flag" and "Marinus van der Lubbe". Think of all the new "security" organizations and Czars who are not accountable to Congress or anyone else but Obama. As we can see right now with AG Holder, the Cabinet itself is not accountable to anyone.

With this group of totalitarians, unfortunately we have to include this as being in the realm of possibility.

Don't hold your breath...if it's England/British Isles, I don't think they care too much about baraka there to begin with, they're neutral at best, maybe slightly inclined to distrust him (i am talking anout the regular folk, not the rabid liberal media, BBC and their ilk)...if it's france, don't be fooled, they still like him there, a lot. They think he's a refined intellectual :),l my fellow citizens even elected a clone of his to be their president recently...if it's and Spain. , they're in too deep poop themselves to care what's going on over here, as for fhe Germans, as you could see from the latest Der Spiegel article they are dissappointed in him coz he didn't govern liberally/lefty enough...Europe is a strange bunch that will always be to the left of the US in matter politics//policies even during their most 'conservative'' years...

Looks like the Republicans have a good chance of beating Obama, however, I'm not confident that Romney as the Republican President is going to turn anything around and save our economic problems, not with this Senate and House. Romney is not a Socialist, so that agenda will stop, but as far as the economy, I believe Romney will cave to the Republican Establishment who are not conservative, as well as the Democratic Senate.

I don't see the Republicans standing up to the Democrats at all in the House or the Senate, and we all know how dirty the Democrats fight.

Your thinking is correct, but I suspect you have missed the one out that they have.

What if he quits? They can fabricate any reason. If he does and endorses the Hildabeast, they might get off with minimal damage to their base.

He can't quit under any circumstance. No one in his hard base would believe that he did so on his own. A dozen conspiracy theories would bloom on the left. No endorsement of Hillary would be enthusiastic enough to make it work.
