I actually disagree. I think that Howard Dean, far from being a loon, has simply realized the facts of the media echo chamber – over-the-top, outrageous statements like this, while bearing no relation to reality, will get him on-screen air time from the fellow-travelers in the media.

If you provide an incentive for something, don’t be surprised when the behavior you are incentivizing increases. The Democrats have discovered that the media will put any claim they make, no matter how wild, on the air and the more outrageous the better. Rabid partisans like Joy Behar, Chris Mathews, etc want to hear this kind of rhetoric.

This is why the wild statements from the Democrats and the Left (but I repeat myself) are becoming more and more frightening. They like to accuse the Right of violent rhetoric, but the facts are that all of the truly scary stuff is coming from them. Projection much?

As for Dean’s statements, the Democrats are a party of denial to begin with. Let’s face it – they cannot run on their actual policies, which most Americans reject. So they lie. And for a party that builds its entire election strategy on lying, it is a small step to the kind of denial we see here.

Could be. But from just looking at the screenshot of the vid, it seems like he might have gone to his plastic surgeon and said “Ya, know…gimme your ‘John Thune’ package.”

Where do the democrats go? Do they become RINOS?

Is it just me, or does this man appear to be physically quite ill? His ridiculous bullshit politics aside, I don’t wish to see anyone suffer, and this guy looks TERRIBLE! I hope he sees a real doctor soon, ’cause Hugo Chavez may be in better shape than this cat right now.

As far as I’m concerned, this is all fine. The more the Democrats refuse to recognize the problems they have, the easier it’s going to be to get Romney elected. Keep drinking the Kool-aid boys, keep setting the snooze-alarm, every time you get a wake-up call. November will get here quickly so let them sleep, it only means there will be less vitriol around.

Denial is the hot new diet plan.

That’s what they did after Scott Brown won and that worked well for us.

The longer they deny what is happening, the less prepared they will be when the scewed pollesters start giving out real numbers right before the election. By then it will be too late.
