Video: The cookie monsters

posted at 5:35 pm on June 1, 2012 by Allahpundit

Granted, this clip is four years old, but (a) Uproxx says it’s “just now going viral,” (b) I’d never seen it before, (c) we need a palate cleanser, and (d) it’s timeless. A thousand years from now, anthropologists will sift through the rubble of our failed civilization, find this video, cue it up, and understand instantly. “This is where it started,” they’ll say, exchanging knowing glances. “This was the beginning of the end.”

Your lives are about to change, my friends. And not for the better.

There are three types of people:

(1) those that get it;
(2) those that don’t get it;
(3) those that cannot begin to comprehend that there’s something called getting it or not getting it.

These females were raised by wolves.

Ineptocracy: in-ep-toc’-ra-cy

So she’s pissed about the charges because they might issue a warrant.

Does that mean she has no intention of reporting to her court date and worries that they might eventually harsh her mellow by serving the ensuing warrant?

And yeah, I get that she’s since violated probation. It’s just all jaw-dropping from start to finish. No wonder our cops all end up jaded.

TexasDan on June 1, 2012 at 6:16 PM

Why is it that when people say, ‘I need money’, it really means, ‘I want money without doing anything for it.’

Notice that this woman has dyed hair and is drinking a $4-$5 Starbucks drink.

Like much of the income inequality-it is driven by values and choices…no getting around it.

Do an experiment-go into a coffee establishment (ie. Starbucks/Caribou) and ask the employees how often bridge cards (welfare cards) are used-your head will explode.

Money for people who really need it, it fine, but a whole lot of people who think they do…simply don’t.

sDs61678 on June 1, 2012 at 6:23 PM

Part of me was thinking this has got to be a hoax, no one can possibly be this dumb. But then I looked back at the incoherent and unable to string together any rational thought ramblings by the OWS protesters, and came to the sad conclusion that: yes this is most likely real, and yes these two girls are really that dumb. Their parents and liberal educators must be proud. PS both of these idiots claim to be broke, but yet they can afford Starbucks drinks and cell phones.

That’s not negative. That’s a prediction as certain as the sun coming up tomorrow.

And you left out a few items: they’ll be tax cheats, they’ll be Democrats, and of course, they’ll be school teachers.

Splashman on June 1, 2012 at 6:34 PM

In the days when Democrats actually had morals, here’s what a Democratic President said:

The most important business in this Nation–or any other nation, for that matter-is raising and training children. If those children have the proper environment at home, and educationally, very, very few of them ever turn out wrong. I don’t think we put enough stress on the necessity of implanting in the child’s mind the moral code under which we live.

The fundamental basis of this Nation’s law was given to Moses on the Mount. The fundamental basis of our Bill of Rights comes from the teachings which we get from Exodus and St. Matthew, from Isaiah and St. Paul. I don’t think we emphasize that enough these days.

If we don’t have the proper fundamental moral background, we will finally wind up with a totalitarian government which does not believe in rights for anybody except the state.

- President Harry S. Truman
