It looks like Georgetown has taught its students poorly. I’d say disaffiliation from the Catholic Church cannot come too quickly for Georgetown.

I’d love to see Notre Dame disaffiliated too.

We have a rule — hate the sin, love the sinner — but when you show you love the sin too, well, maybe it’s time for a parting of the ways.

I now have a vision in my head of the next pro-abortion speaker at Georgetown having to face protestors chanting “the power of Christ compels you!” and flinging holy water.

Yeah the invocation of a fictional character designed for paste eating morons will do a lot.

This should not surprise anyone. I love a lot of Catholics most of who are very good God loving people. But the Church has a very evil history. Child predators hidden and protected, Nuns giving birth and murdering the children born. Then for 1260 years the Holy Roman Empire that murdered over 200,000,000 for refusing to worship the Pope and the other Catholic Saints, and the “Holy Mother”. The greatest genocides ever committed on Earth.

I fear the Catholics and Muslims will eventually unite in support of the Anti-Christ but believe America will not be part of that.

Again this is not bashing any Catholics. Most are GOD loving and doing their very best to worship GOD. But at some point they will have to choose. Follow GOD totally or follow a sinning Church.

You do realize that 200,000,000 people is about 4 times the population of Europe in 1492? Or, to put it another way, Catholicism was four times more toxic than the bubonic plague.

As for nuns becoming pregnant and aborting the resulting children, I was unable to find any mention of this being any kind of frequent occurrance. Now, I can see individual cases — certainly one might be Martin Luther’s wife (whom I believe was a nun who renounced her vows of chastity and obedience…)

Child predators hidden and protected would be part and parcel of a Church which believes that confession of sins and a sincere penance offered to God removes stain of sin, and a historical finding that Caesar, as benevolent as he might be here in the USA (and even that is debatable), has been far less charitable elsewhere. Such behavior is indeed detestible, and is being remedied. My Church, like others, is filled with sinners, including those in the clergy.

You are welcome to your anti-Catholic prejudices (even though you try to mitigate them with the best “my best friend is black” apology you can muster), but please don’t present them as anything other than opinion.

Georgetown and Catholicism has just been forced to its knees, again. You don’t see this kind of anti-Christian behavior at Liberty or even BYU!

Places like Liberty and BYU are more designed for concerns of this life than the next and are pretty much “Christian” in name only.

I don’t know about Liberty, but I have lots of friends and relatives who attended BYU, and they are Christian in more than just name, which means that they concern themselves with the temporal as well as the spiritual, this world as well as the next.

BYU and the LDS Church caught a lot of flak, even from conservatives, when they did clean house (the “intolerant Mormons suppressing academic freedom” meme at work; however, please note the last paragraph, which makes it clear he was fired for violating his contract, and then removed from Church leadership positions for his advocacy of positions contrary to Church doctrine – he may be a Mormon in belief and on the record, but he’s not a “practicing” one unless he has repented and been re-instated since then).

Jeffrey Nielsen is founder of the Democracy House Project, and a published author. He is also a philosophy instructor at Westminster College, Salt Lake City; and Utah Valley University, Orem, Utah. You are absolutely correct. Our President believes infanticide is moral. The top people in his administration all accept infanticide as moral. People have got to start realizing what a horror this is.

It seems as if liberal professors are infiltrating and idoctrinating the students at a record pace. I have a relative that is going to St. Edward’s in Austin. She told me that one of her professors told her that the Fox News Channel lies & wasn’t real news. I set her straight with facts and books all about liberal propaganda.

Unfortunately, most Catholic colleges are liberal first and Catholic second (if that). I sent my kids through Catholic high school, but, when it came to college, I sent them to state schools.

I know I shouldn’t enjoy her being heckled.. but I did.

Maybe it’s time we go and harass their speakers as they have ours since the 60′s. Maybe they need to be reminded.. not everyone buys into their nonsense. There is no defense for partial birth abortion.. none. It’s straight up infanticide. There is no reasons why you have to have the birth happen.. for all intents complete but for the baby’s head.. then murder the baby because the mom needed them to because the birth endangered her life?

Wanna destroy the basterds? Use their tactics against them. Our numbers, in conjunction with such tactics, will assure their complete marginalization. Follow it up with a program of discrediting through the school system, and it’ll take ‘em another 150 years to get this far again.
