Biden: I don’t blame people for voting for that inmate in West Virginia instead of for us

posted at 4:05 pm on May 18, 2012 by Allahpundit

Via the Examiner, this is actually a fairly deft, politic response to a realllly bad outcome. He can’t say “voters are stupid” or, as his party believes, “voters are racist,” so instead he absolves them and lays the whole thing implicitly on — who else? — George W. Bush. But since no one takes Biden seriously, it transforms instantly into a late-afternoon giggle about the VP kinda sorta admitting they deserve to lose to a felon. Can’t wait for that Arkansas primary.

As a little bonus on the recurring theme of “no one takes Biden seriously,” watch the new ad below from American Crossroads after you’re done with the first clip. Starts slow but you’ll enjoy the payoff, I promise.

Wait until they lose in Arkansas, the spin is going to be hilarious.

We all know how many inmates will be voting for the Obama/Biden/Hillary team.

Gore actually lost his Boss’ home state of Arkansas in 2000, along with his own home state of Tennessee. He also lost West Virgina.

He blamed all three of those losses on Bush, of course.

joe, do you know what year this is? Do you have a clue who is running aginst your boss? Do you know that Bush has been gone for almost four years? Do you know that a vast vast number of American’s would vote for a loaf of stale bread against your boss?
And joe, you are the fungus of the stale bread! joe you seem to be in need of a major mental check-up?

The real reason to root for an Obama loss there is not for the sheer embarrassment, but because the Dems are threatening to withhold the delegates from President Wolfe even if he wins. That’s gonna lead to a huge controversy over the party disenfranchising its own voters.

It’s a play on words.. Convictions as in the big difference between El Presidente Downgrade and that inmate…

Chip on May 18, 2012 at 4:32 PM

Yesterday Obama advocated for the inmates’ votes.

After the G8 “make sure I get re-elected” meeting at Camp David he’ll advocate for pimps and Flukes.

Schadenfreude on May 18, 2012 at 4:32 PM

Somewhere, Obama is watching this on a flat-screen television with his head in his hands. . .. Say what you will about Joe Biden. I love him in all his crazy, stupid glory. Some days he’s the only thing that gets a chuckle out of me.

My guess that Mt Rushmore is too small a venue and too crowded for the ego of our current President. He’s going to want something that you can see from space.

Too bad the so-called comedians can’t come up with any jokes or skits about this administration. What does that say about their creativity.

angrymike on May 18, 2012 at 6:25 PM

Now, now — they’ve been through a lot. Each successive year they’ve said that somehow our economy is going regenerate and it has not. So it’s not surprising then that they get bitter, they cling to the Tea Party or Republicans in Congress or George W. Bush as a way to explain their frustrations. Have some compassion, conservatives!
