On the surface, Palin’s endorsement record is impressive. Of the 36 candidates facing contested primaries that she has endorsed, 25 have won. That’s a win ratio of just under 70%.

What makes it really notable is that it includes several upsets that have shocked the Washington establishment. Many of Palin’s picks were opposed by the GOP leadership, which poured resources into other candidates.

It is all about being relevant, baby!

So if Cruz cruises to victory with a big push from the washed-up has been quitter Palin then what will the haters say then? And if Cruz does win how long will it be before there be buzz for Romney to pick Sarah as his running mate to unite the party? Just saying.

First, let me say that I will follow Sarah Palin inside or outside the Republican Party. And that I expect [and hope] that it will be outside eventually, as I do not think that the Institutional Republican Party can be torn away from its primary loyalty to the Political Class.

That said, while I expect Sarah to do her best to remove Buraq Hussein Obama from power by electoral means, if such remains a viable route in this country; I am absolutely positive that there is no possibility of recognition of her role in doing so by the Republican Party. They are just not built that way. Her successes just incur more hate from the Institutionals. They will not allow talk of her being the VP candidate, and there is no way that they will allow it to happen.

Just as McCain and the Institutionals could not bear the fact that Sarah was more popular and more of a draw than McCain, and so hamstrung her; Romney and the Institutionals know that she would outshine Romney. And in doing so create an opening for the rise of the TEA Party/Patriot movement. They would rather lose the election, than break their permanent “iron rice bowls”.

I expect her to continue as she has done; fighting Obama and the Left by every means possible, and installing Patriots in office wherever she can, preparing for whatever future may come. I am reminded of Army Field Manual 34-130.

Keep your eye on the prizes; November 6 and after.

Cruz will win in a landslide.

He killed an effort to reign in the TSA. Killed a law to limit funds to cities that allow sanctuary city policies to stand and he drug out the voter ID legislation for 6 years (it took three sessions to finally get it). I’d say its a wash as far as comparing him to KBH.

These and several other are reasons why I won’t vote for Dewhurst. As Lt Gov. he had the opportunity to advance the Conservative movement here in Texas. He chose to side with the Democrats once again. Someone compared him to Christ, but with his love of the Democrats I think It might only be slightly hyperbolic to compare him to McCain. Cruz is definitely the best of the bunch, and seems likely to stand on the principles he espouses.

Her endorsement is for maximum impact, right where early voting is starting up. It’ll be fresh on voters mind

This will be a fascinating test of Palin power. I hope at least that it discourages Romney from going for Huckabee for VP. I can’t see Huckabee adding anything to the ticket. At this point, it seems like Palin’s greatest role is supporting conservative candidates. She’s still too toxic from a media standpoint to run well herself. When she’s holding herself to endorsements, she wields a lot of power, but is much more difficult for the media to attack effectively.

Like I said before, grow up, Sarah Palin isn’t running for anything. All she is doing is endorsing conservative GOP candidates. People neither Team Romney not Mitt Romney have the time or money to expend on. She is doing her part to energize the GOP base, to get them motivated to get out and vote. To get out and vote Republican, which means, to vote for Mitt Romney, and I seriously doubt that Mitt Romney or his people are stupid enough that they do not know that.

Her earlier Nebraska endorsement, also a gutsy call. Conservative endorsements in Nebraska have split three ways – Bruning, Stenberg, and Fischer:
