We’ve already had a pot smoking draft evading rapist/molester in the WH, and now a coke snorting foreign-aid affirmative action college radical turned socialist aggitator – so why not a pro-wrestler porn star with Facebook photos of his drunken party days?

So would my ongoing fights with the IRS over the taxable status of the disability portion of my military pension. Funny, they only started attacking me on that after I began writing to Senators Boxer and Feinstein every week about all of the things they are doing to damage this nation. Weird coincidence, yes?

“They” aren’t going to exist in 2040. The breakup of the Democrat-media complex will be complete by then. Nobody will be reading a newspaper or watching NBC Nightly News.

However, By the time 2040 rolls around (I’ll be 90, if I’m still alive. The egg McMuffin I had for breakfast says no though.) Facebook will have looooong been dead. Since it doesn’t allow caching of it’s pages, everything on it will be gone, the servers long deleted and junked.

Seriously. by 2040 the world as we know it will be so fundamentally changed that were we able to view it from here it would be unrecognizable. Good or bad, everything will be different. Such is life. And Facebook will be an anachronism of the past, it’s data long since lost, only remembered in the history archives of the Smithsonian or another historical society.

Not that you should party like it’s 1999 and put it all on Facebook, but you don’t have to be so worried for anything that far out.

Mexican drug cartels are already targeting people who post stuff they don’t like on Twitter and Facebook.

I think there are a lot of young adults that have become much more careful with what they throw out there on the internet for exactly this reason. They learn quick when they start getting serious about their future.

Well if you see the young ones now a days they cant even take care of themselves… how do you think they would take care of a whole country?

I think standards will change.
There was a time when it would have been political suicide for any candidate to admit they had smoked marijuana when they were in college. I think it isn’t any longer. It’s not something people brag about, but if it came up for any given candidate I doubt it would be damaging.
And I suspect it’ll be the same for this in 30 years. Such peccadillos will be so common that they won’t be considered noteworthy.

Before then, nerdy politicians will be looking for ways to get fake pictures post-dated to make them look cool to the voters who grew up seeing everyone they know in embarrassing situations.
Going to college and not having ribald pictures of it will be as ridiculed as smoking pot in the 60s and not inhaling.
