I agree, Manning’s attorney isn’t doing him much good with these absurd motions. Then again, perhaps they know there’s no real way out, and are trying any Hail Mary they can.

I certainly wouldn’t cry over his bullet-riddled corpse but I don’t think the military wants that much bad PR (they are not immune from PR, obviously). I’d be happy to see him get life imprisonment at hard labor – real hard labor, not the pu$$y kind picking up trash from the highway.

O man, from the pic, he is so obviously a twig boy, you’d think the Army would screen for that in recruitment. Or, at least, when they’re handing out those Top Secret clearances. No twig boys.

19 year olds are NOT kids, they are legal adults please stop describing men and women who have chosen to defend our nation, or be police officers or other First Responders as children.

As to how he got access: He was a 35F (Intelligence Analyst United States Army) and they have access to a private intelligence internet called SIPRNet (Secure Internet Protocol Routed Network) which all intel agencies (DoD, DIA, CIA, FBI, NSA, NCTC, State Dept, etc etc) have access to.

A 35F has the highest Security Clearance possible in the military so all you would need to do is get on and pick and choose what you wanted to see. As for how he DOWNLOADED it?!! That would be some idiot higher up who thought it would be a good idea to allow servicemembers to bring their own media devices into a super secured area that you can be shot for entering if you aren’t supposed to be there. My best friend is also a 35F and has told me of the constant headaches he got for over a month straight after Manning was caught.

I heard they also gave him the keys to the warehouse in which the gubmint stored the Ark of the Covenant (1st Indiana Jones movie). I think I saw the Ark on eBay last week.

Treason should be on that list, along with a declaration that his butt-buddy julian assangehole is an enemy of the state and should be shot in the face on sight.
