Audio: Bold new critic of Obama’s class warfare nonsense emerges on national scene

Via Breitbart.com, I’m as surprised as you are. What’s next? Dana Carvey on deficit reduction?

Dude, I think he might be transitioning. It’s a process; he’s not all the way there yet, as, say, Robert Downey Jr is. But the wheels are turning. It’s happening. All he needs is a tricorne and he’ll be ready to cross over.

You’ll enjoy every minute but there are F-bombs aplenty, so here’s your official content warning.

How odd, I just got done watching his episode of The Larry Sanders Show on Netflix, where he has a crush on Darlene, and came straight to Hot Air and here he is again.

Whatever you think of Lovitz’s comedy – and honestly, he leaves me cold – he’s apparently a great guy. There was an instance where comedian Andy Dick had dragged a friend of his, who was in rehab, out partying, and the guy ended up overdosing on drugs, and I believe died. Not long after that, Lovitz saw Dick out in public, shoved him up against a wall, and very nearly kicked his ass.

Just today I saw a story where he’d outed several high schoolers who pranked a Jewish friend of his daughter with anti-Semitic symbols. So whatever his politics, a stand-up guy.

Good. We need more comedians on our side.

He’s lived with it, doesn’t like it, and won’t be voting for Obama again. We need millions more like him if we’re going to avoid disaster this fall.

Was there anywhere in that rant, where he actually said he’s voting against Obama?

To me-he just sounds like a guy grumbling about his taxes, who’ll pull the same old lever come November.

All the millionaire liberals want higher taxes to increase their standard of living off the money they have now. They want the young to be taxed heavily on their meager income made serving the elites.

Jon Lovitz Gets Anti-Semitic Bullies Expelled, Thanks to Twitter

Former “Saturday Night Live” star Jon Lovitz has found a new use for the microblogging service Twitter: busting bullies.

Last week, the comic contacted the 26,000-plus followers on his Twitter feed to expose three girls who had been bullying his friend’s daughter, after the trio put dog feces on the girl’s doorstep and used syrup to paint swastikas and the word “Jew” on her front walk.

Lovitz posted a picture of their handiwork, saying, “Swastikas in sh** left on my friend’s front porch were done by three 14-year-old girls, driven to the house by one of the girl’s mother.” Lovitz also posted pics of the three girls, saying, “The 3 girls who are bullying my friend’s daughter. They want to be known. Let them be famous as Jew haters. Pls RT.”

Lovitz saw a quick response, explaining Monday the girls have been “charged with a hate incident” — because syrup isn’t permanent — and later, “UPDATE!!!! The three girls who vandalized my friends home with swastikas and dog crap, have been expelled from their school permanently.”

The mother who drove the girls to the house in the middle of the night so they could pull off the prank could also face charges.

Lovitz says the bullied girl’s grandfather was a Holocaust survivor.

At least Lovitz has made me laugh, so I consider him far more sucessful than say… Al Franken (Who I have hated since his first SNL… “skit”

Ay, a Lovitz here a Miller there, a Ben Stein… meh. can’t make any predictions from so few data points.

grahampowell on April 23, 2012 at 11:00 PM

I remember the incident you’re referring to, and from what I recall reading about it, it was hardly unprovoked, though perhaps not by what you’re suggesting. As I recall, the breaking point for Lovitz was when Dick told him something to the effect that he (Dick) was going to put the “Phil Hartman curse” on Lovitz.

The incident caught my attention for two reasons. One being that I was amazed it had taken so long for someone to (almost) beat the tar out of Andy Dick. And two, that the person in question ended up being Jon Lovitz, of all people.

Cylor on April 24, 2012 at 12:49 AM

I agree with Kevin Smith that he should be happy with “half of a lot”.

Anyone making as many truly bad films as he has should be happy he’s been left to walk the streets freely.

This could easily be the start of a migration rightward. It started with Dennis Miller when he wanted to consider Rush Limbaugh on his own merits. He said “Some of the things this guy says make a lot of sense.” He was never forgiven for that by his leftist buddies. It is the intolerance of the liberals for conservative ideas who would push Lovitz right. He will need to repent–Miller was always too much his own man to kowtow to people who talked about “free speech” and “open-mindedness” but wanted conformity.

Adam Sandler is a registered Republican. My 10 year old just did a report on him for school. Had to laugh – she was to choose 6 adjectives for him and give examples to back up the adjectives chosen – she chose clever, devoted, generous, funny…. and to back up “intelligent” she wrote “He’s a registered Republican”.

We warned her that she might make waves with that – but she’s a tough cookie and wanted to do it. So I armed her with the Rasmussen poll that found Republicans are better educated and more open minded than Democrats.

Daisy_WI on April 24, 2012 at 8:34 AM

This is the liberal version of the born-again Christian belief that all you have to do is confess Jesus Christ as your Personal Savior, and whatever you do is somehow okay.

Yeah, this explains why places where Evangelical Christianity has been dominant (Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Texas, etc.) have been socially liberal and centers of immorality… while places like Boston, NYC, Philadelphia, Chicago, LA and SF where the “good religions” are dominant are so socially conservative./

Idiot.

Exactly. I don’t get the sense he’s changed his stripes, just that he’s griping because he feels Obama betrayed him personally.

mrsknightley on April 24, 2012 at 9:26 AM

Good to see that Lovitz seems to finally be seeing the light but how did he not see this coming???

Anyone who opened their eyes and had half a brain could see this coming with Obama!

I’m torn when I hear someone criticize Obama and they say “I voted for him but…”

Really how could you have been so stupid in the first place???

And if Lovitz votes for him again then Lovitz personally deserves to lose every penny he has!

LevinFan on April 24, 2012 at 9:37 AM

MelonCollie on April 24, 2012 at 9:38 AM

I heard Lovitz interviewed on the Howie Carr radio show out of Boston, about a year ago. Lovitz was doing a live performance in the area and was on to plug his show. Jon was pretty much on message but Howie pulled him into politics briefly.

I didn’t get the impression that he was tilting right, but he was willing to debate and did consider the positions presented to him. It’s something you wouldn’t have heard on any of the network shows.

TugboatPhil on April 24, 2012 at 9:41 AM

Would it still be as funny with out the b.s that he pays ‘a dollar from every two dollars earned’?
Artistic license I guess…

verbaluce on April 24, 2012 at 9:43 AM

I honestly believe there a lot of people in the entertainment field who believe just like Jon but are afraid to say it in public. Obama is not the beloved creature the media is spinning. He will lose in November.

MelonCollie on April 24, 2012 at 10:26 AM

I heard Jon Lovitz was invited to the White House for dinner and was served:

Appetizer:
New England Clam Chow.
Dogue de Bordeaux Wine.

Main Course:
Collie flour.
Collar greens.
German Shepherds pie with Bernese sauce.
Pekingese Duck.

And for dessert:

hound cake.
Yorkie pudding.
Baked Alaskan Malamute.

Jon loves dogs….just not as food.

dthorny on April 24, 2012 at 11:00 AM

The sidekick pretty much explained the thinking.

It was along the lines of:

–Growing up, I had nothing. Now I have half of a lot.

So you have people who are satisfied with what they are allowed to keep because anything they have is better than where they grew up. Pretty sad, really.

EconomicNeocon on April 24, 2012 at 11:16 AM

Sherman1864 on April 24, 2012 at 11:36 AM

With regards to the Andy Dick incident, I saw a clip of Jon talking about that and the “Phil Hartman curse”. I think Dick should be eternally grateful that it was Jon Lovitz and he only got his head smashed into the bar a few times. Anyone more badass would have outright killed the idiot.

CitizenEgg on April 24, 2012 at 11:48 AM

As much as we conservatives would like to pretend Hollywood and the MSM no longer matter, they unfortunately do. Even a relatively “B” grade celebrity like Lovitz popping off about Obama is incredibly effective.

I actually think there are FAR more conservative-leaning celebrities out there, but they don’t want to destroy their career. It’s only once they get in a position where the trendy cocktail circuit can no longer determine their fate are they comfortable speaking out.

BradTank on April 24, 2012 at 11:57 AM

I disagree with many on here- it was CLEAR that Lovitz has had it with the class warfare, and does recognize redistribution of wealth kills the American dream.

and guess what? All the ABR who claimed Romney could never pull in independents- if there is ANYONE who can win the votes of someone like Lovtitz it is one Mitt Romney..

AirForceCane on April 24, 2012 at 12:23 PM

I had no clue that Lovitz had a conservative/libertarian streak in him.

“Get to know meeee”, indeed.

TMOverbeck on April 24, 2012 at 12:28 PM

Most of them repent (Tom Sellick, Kevin Costner) and go slinking back to the fold. It’s sad that so many of what we term celebrities have no individuality or strength of character.

jclittlep on April 24, 2012 at 1:00 PM

Gee, he’s a Democrat and he can’t understand 0bama’s class warfare? He supports the party of class warfare. It’s not exactly a head-scratcher, Jon.

contrarian on April 24, 2012 at 2:17 PM

It’s schtick, folks.

The bit was aimed at publicly a) telling Obama that he’s way off base with his “class warfare” campaign, and b) Jon also telling his own followers that he (Obama) is making a political mistake in pursuing that class warfare campaign.

But keeping it as “schtick” like this allows Jon to deny that he was being serious in an interview, or to respond by keeping up the “schtick.” If he had said this in a serious and sober manner, he would have risked killing his own career because it would have exposed his “persona.”

The problem is that this is really too late . . . Obama’s political bed is made for the fall. Class warfare is really all he’s got to keep the youth vote, especially young single women. But it is all going to come crashing down like a house of cards.
