Lake Ontario is half owned by Canada and if you want to build a marina here on the New York side you better ask the State for permission. Obama is trying to take over the authority of the States which the Constitution forbids. Our past Governor Cuomo gave the Adirondack area to the Federal Parks making it the largest Federal funded park in the USA only to get the funds to spend on the programs for the State, plus create another bureaucracy within the State.

Wouldn’t this also be true of Lakes Superior, Huron, and Erie? If Obama is trying to extend his authority beyond current agreements between Canada and the United States, couldn’t the Canadian government get upset about it, just like they’re upset about Obama’s refusal to build the Keystone XL pipeline? If Obama steps on too many Canadian toes, the Canadians could close the Saint Lawrence Seaway (totally controlled by Canada northeast of Ottawa) and cut off the Great Lakes area from maritime shipping. Ouch!!!

On the American side, the other Great Lakes are bordered by Minnesota, Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, and (along a short coastline) Pennsylvania. All these states except MN have Republican Governors–what will be their reaction?

If the Congress is unsuccesssful in meeting this goal, they will be formally lose their positions as Representative or Senator formally on the 28th day of February of the same year the failure occurred, but will be legally required to serve in their capacity to the best of their ability until their specific replacement assumes office on the same 28th day of February that they leave office. Special national elections will be held online on the 14th day of February for specific replacements for each of these positions to be vacated in Congress on the 28th day of February. The FGUSA will cease any nonessential functioning Federal departments (defined as not being defined as essential in the Constitution of the United States of America) until a budget is passed. Any subsequent replacement Congress will have a 28-day period, starting the day they assumed office, to produce a financial budget for that same year. If unsuccessful, the above process repeats until a budget is successfully passed. Only when a budget is successfully passed will any nonessential functioning Federal departments begin to resume operations.

The only way a nonessential functioning Federal department that can resume active functioning are those directly involved in the assistance and management of aid in the event of a natural disaster, or active involvement in combat operations.

This will become effective retroactively starting January 20, 2013. This Executive Order may never be declared null and/or void.

LEGISLATIVE: ‘Omnibus repeal of legislative foolishness and malfeasance” Bill, to Include repeal of Obamacare, and recovery of all unspent Stimulus funds (and attachment and recovery of all mis-spent or diverted funds). Pass New Ryan budget with an amendment requiring 15% real (zero baseline) reduction in every Federal department and agency: to be repeated (another 15% reduction) every 6 months until 2007 budget levels are attained.

I’m not a Mitt fan, either.
But let’s be realistic.
I would love personally to take away all the free goodies immediately from everyone.
But you cannot take a dependent populace & yank their stuff away overnight.
What has been done in the last 100+ years to destroy America must be undone just about as slowly.
It’s a slow process.
You do it fast, you will meet enough resistance that no one will support you.
But feel free to step on the gas pedal so we hurtle towards the cliff & die faster, rather than slow down to buy us some time to get someone else in there eventually that will turn the wheel.
