Did you hear the callers on a black radio station (on Hannity) hurling racial epithets?-”honky” “cracker” “pink people” “white trash”-referring to a case where an HISPANIC (not a white) was involved with a black and the so-far slim evidence tends to favor the Hispanic.

This racial warfare strategy will also help solidify the “guilt haunted” white independents who are not only cowards but would rather crawl 17 miles over broken glass than be called RACIST for not voting for Obama.

I still had the modifier ‘southern’ in my mind about myself. Iowa helping keep that idiot Santorum in is proof enough the problem is not limited to the south.

Well, you know, I’m a social conservative, but I supported neither Huckabee nor Santorum.

One thing that frustrates me beyond words about social conservatives is their ‘all or nothing’ stance on everything.

They seem to think they have to get 100% of what they want in one fell swoop. Take abortion. If America took the 10th amendment approach to abortion, millions of lives would be saved overnight. We could then focus our efforts on the remaining places through various means. This mindset leads them to support people like Santorum and Huckabee, who will never win in the current climate. Perry or even Gingrich would have been a winning choice, and both men give almost everything a social conservative could want in terms of their records. But no, that’s not good enough for the saintly ones. As a southern evangelical Christian conservative myself, I can tell you that I’m really starting to think the stereotypes about southern Christian conservatives being the least intelligent voters is true, based on their behavior in these things.

The libs will take 25% of what they want today, with the intent of getting every last bit of the remaining 75% at some point in the future. But that requires focus, patience and a work ethic, something the ‘smart kids’ and ‘players’ on our side don’t have.

Yep, I can’t help but agree with you 100%.

Especially the part about the conservative movement being stupid and selfish.

We watched as conservative candidates that could have given Obama a proper run for his money – Palin and Perry – were torn into shreds and declared to be “unelectable”.

I will never forgive bloggers like Michelle Malkin for going ballistic on Perry for his ‘Gardasil’ stance while giving Romney and Santorum a pass on their love for big government and less than stellar conservative credentials.

Social conservatives that gave us McCain the last time by propping up the big government Huckabee repeated it this primary season by propping up Santorum. How did that work out?

I hope they all enjoy Obama’s second term.

the only reason BHO is ‘likeable’ is because the GOP and the ‘conservative’ wing of the mainstream media (from FOX to hotair.com) hasn’t done its job. Everyone’s scared criticize the black guy.

We conservatives have been outplayed for a long time. The results show it. But for some reason, instead of accepting it and adapting, the mouthpieces of our side prop up the losers on our side (everyone from Rubio to Romney), and point to insignificant little nothings and say ‘see, look what we’ve accomplished!’ And God forbid we speak or act against the Republican party. No, we fall into line like good little sheep.

It’s not likability, it’s a lack of vetting. The news covers what he says at face value, rather than the fact that he just churned out blatant lie. We are still nowhere close to having him vetted in any meaningful way by the mainstream media, and unfortunately, most people don’t hit the web to investigate further. Obama knows that and banks on it every single day. Add in unions, voter fraud, and the fact that parasites vote.

They want to like him, because they don’t want to admit that this whole thing about electing the first black president was a miserable failure. But this sentiment won’t save him forever. Come next November, in the solitude of the voting booth, people will vote him out. The only thing that can save Obama now is… the Reupublican Party.

I keep hoping Americans aren’t stupid enough to re-elect someone they know is wrong but they want to feel good about.

Personally, if I found Barry Obama at my used car lot, I would buy from anyone before him. I would buy from the most inexperienced salesperson, Craigslist, the classifieds or a friend of a friend of a guy who works on cars before I would trust anything this man tried to sell me. He is a pathetic liar who uses debate tactics any high schooler could defeat.

People who like him because he is a nice black guy dishonor the millions of minorities who are likeable and admirable for their own strength of character or personality.

To be fair, uppereastside was referring to Dick Cheney, so why bring servicemen into it? Dick Cheney shouldn’t be mentioned in the same breath as those who actually served. He applied for and received five draft deferrals. Per his own words: “I had other priorities in the ’60s than military service.”
