Sorry, but it has. Frankly, I’m surprised Wisconsin has even a bit of meaning.

Steve Eggleston on March 29, 2012 at 11:44 AM

Aw, where are the questions asking if such and such candidate doesn’t get the nod, will you: a) stay home, b) vote, but not for president, c) vote for the nominee regardless, d) vote for Obama?

I’d be very curious to see those results for each of the remaining candidates.

changer1701 on March 29, 2012 at 11:46 AM

I’m glad we weren’t asked to pick our preferred candidate between Santorum and Gingrich. I would’ve just walked away.

“Rage against the machine, vote Newt! Annoy a liberal, vote Newt!”

Those were the good old days.

They also forgot to include the eternal, existential question:

Paper or plastic?

This survey proves that everyone is lost.

Romney can’t get to 1144. Are you listening?

This means that the primary is over and Romney lost.

The election begins again in June and finishes up with the convention. We are not limited to 4 candidates. And Ron Paul will not be one of the finalists.

Golf clap for Romney. He was the least embarrassing.

May God help us, we’ve gone from McLame to Flipper.

Unless you’re a conservative, because for conservatives Romney is the most humiliating choice as he is the very author of RomneyCare, which became the model for ObamaCare, which is the botch of policy that created the Tea Party, and that is now getting buzz-sawed to pieces by SCOTUS.

The irony is as painful as it is painfully funny.

Its not loading on my computer either, and it always had before…

It didn’t on mine either, so I just went to the Greenroom and did it there.

Night Owl on March 29, 2012 at 12:39 PM

What did you do in the green room?

Rusty Allen on March 29, 2012 at 12:42 PM

Wow….what flavor of big government crap sandwich would you like with your fries, sir.?

I’m getting good and sloppy drunk before pulling the lever AGAINST Obama. Then, like with McCain, I’m going to go home and take a shower

search4truth on March 29, 2012 at 12:47 PM

Home stretch?

Hmmmm

Last state votes at the end of June. That’s 3 months from now.

Convention’s in August. That’s 5 months from now.

Methinks HotAir reveals it’s bias yet again.

IOW, it ain’t the home stretch, folks. Not by a long shot.

And it won’t become so just because you keep saying it is.

According to RCP, of the 1028 delegates awarded Romney has 565-55%. There are 1258 left. He needs to get 44% of those. The next states are winner take all Wisconsin, Maryland, and DC which Romney is likely to win. Santorum might get PA. Of the upcoming states through most of April the only other one that would seem likely to go for Santorum is Missouri. If Romney has managed to get 54% so far, with mostly proportional awards against candidates who were not yet fading, it’s hard to see how he won’t be able to get 44% of the remaining delegates. The fat lady isn’t singing, but she’s warming up in the wings.

I was disappointed to see Ham Sandwich, Lawn Gnome Reagan and Hurricane Ditka missing, too…

:-(

Didn’t the last survey also ask who was our preferred candidate in 2008? I don’t ever remember reading any results, and I think that would be interesting.

My first preference was Duncan Hunter, but he gained no traction. I set my hopes on Fred Thompson, and boy was that disappointing.

Romney, please don’t be a disappointment. I am not getting younger.
