Video: Don’t ask Chris Rock about the Tea Party

posted at 12:10 pm on March 14, 2012 by Ed Morrissey

The definition of insanity might not be doing the same thing over and over again while expecting a different result, but in attacking people when they ask you about your definition of insanity. Our friend Jason Mattera confronts comedian Chris Rock about his allegations that the Tea Party is “insane” and “racist,” and, well … Chris Rock goes a bit nuts in response:

Some people don’t like ambush interviews, but even they’d have to say that Rock has a pretty low threshold here. Jason hadn’t even gotten the full question out when Rock turns around and attacks the cameraman [see update]. That’s not only a bit nuts, it’s also rather foolish. How could one not expect that video to go viral after providing such great material to undermine Rock’s credibility on psychology?

Jason’s new book Hollywood Hypocrites hit the bookstores this week — so be sure to pick up your copy now, or order it through the link!

Update: Jason e-mails me with a correction — it was a camerawoman that Rock attacked.

One of the “reviews” of Jason’s new book on amazon:

”Hollywood Hypocrites” is for Republican Retards
March 13, 2012 By Tricky Nicky
… So who are the real hypocrites? The Republicans, of course. If they truly feel that the people involved in Hollywood happenings are such hypocrites, they ought to boycott all related industries. Of course, they don’t. If they did, the only people they’d be left with are Ted Nugent, Chuck Norris, and Wilford Brimley.

Skip this book. It’s as dumb as the Republican who wrote it.

Apparently, the liberal “reviewer” took his own advice and skipped the book, too.
And the fitting conclusion?

OK, not to play Lucifer’s Attorney here, but a guy is at a film festival and someone I don’t know walks up to me with a camera and asks what’s clearly a “gotcha” question. Do I grab the camera? Maybe.

I see him grabbing at the camera, but I don’t see a fist or anything. I like Mattera’s work, but you don’t just ambush a guy and then feign outrage when he reacts. That’s the left’s tactics. Aren’t we better than them?

Since Obama has called for Afro-Americans for Obama to get in their faces, expect black racists to intensify their hate mongering as never before. Since Obama has 95% of the black vote already, these attacks on the white electorate will be for intimidation purposes only. Without racial hatred and class warfare the demorats could never hold office. Add their new attempt at gender warfare and the party of hate will become so obvious that the brainwashed lemming nutjobs might finally see they are being used as tools and nothing more.

volsense on March 14, 2012 at 12:22 PM

Liberal and Progressives only see what they want to see.

They need the Tea Party to be racist in order for their movement to be justified. If not, they need to invent the racism.

They spend a lot of money to craft their image and promote their ideals.

Exposing them is our only option. On Facebook. On Twitter. On Google+. On blogs. Everywhere.

If you are not on Twitter or Facebook promoting this, you have conceded the fight to the Progressives.

Because they certainly are…

I don’t need to see the video. I know Chris Rock has a big chip on his shoulder. He says the white kids beat him up in high school. He says “No white person would ever trade places with him”. Sure, I know comedy is anger + truth + perspective + wit + pain. But his anger and pain, and frankly, hate, have overwhelmed the other ingredients. He’s highly successful, worth millions. Relax and enjoy life. Tea Partiers just want to balance the budget. That’s all. Not a reason to hate them.

I have no sympathy for him or anyone who chooses that lifestyle, and then complains when they have to take the bad with the good. If you want privacy then give it up. We all have to put up with some hassles in our lives, I think many so-called celebrities think they are above that.
