Quotes of the day

“Another pig….and a media association has hired the pig, Louis C.K., to be their headliner for the big media dinner? Really? I am not going. I refuse to go. Everyone in the media should join me in this boycott…

“He uses filthy language about women…..yes, the C word…and yes, even to describe a woman candidate for Vice President of the United States. It isn’t just Governor Palin he denigrates. He denigrates all women and looks to the crowd to laugh…

“I hope all the other women and men in the media join me in not going.”

“But Maher doesn’t have sponsors like Limbaugh does!” cry the left-wing Maher enablers. Yes, but he does have an endless stream of high-profile liberals parading through his studio. In fact, it was reported that none other than David Axelrod, who on Wednesday attacked Mitt Romney for his insufficient outrage over Limbaugh’s sexist rant, is set to visit the Maher show to kiss the ring of the Misogynist One. Also, I’m no genius, but doesn’t HBO run his show? Couldn’t liberals boycott HBO?

Rush Limbaugh is justifiably boycotted for calling a woman a “slut” and a “prostitute,” but the man who used the c-word, twat and boobs to refer to Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann is getting a visit from a top Democratic strategist. Liberals have demanded that GOP leaders denounce Limbaugh, but President Obama, who has opined repeatedly on the Limbaugh controversy, refuses to denounce Maher. This despite the fact that Maher has made a high-profile $1 million donation to Obama’s super PAC, which is run by longtime Obama aide Bill Burton.

But remember: liberals care deeply about misogyny.

***

Mr. Maher, who disagrees with Sarah Palin’s politics, has called her a litany of adjectives inappropriate to repeat in any setting and are of the most derogatory of terms reserved for only violent verbal hate crimes against women. We understand that he has donated $1 million dollars of his personal money paid to him through various businesses that thrive on the ratings of his hate speech to your Priorities USA Action to aid in your efforts to re-elect President Obama.

President Obama eloquently stated today in his press conference that, “all decent folks can agree that the remarks that were made don’t have any place in the public discourse.”

We are certain you agree with him, as do we that these types of remarks have no place in our society and the people that unapologetically make them must not be allowed to purchase a seat at the table of public discourse. Therefore, we are calling on Priorities USA Action and you to live up to the standard set by President Obama and take Mr. Maher’s million dollars and pay it forward.

Ninety nine% of americans had no idea what a teabagger was until it was broadcast on national television and weeks later still had no idea

Who gets blamed for that term? Maher? Or Log Cabin Republicans who misunderstood the meaning of the Tea Party?

yep. obama bringing up his daughters has now made them fair game. Sarah knows how to take advantage of an opponent. She slams him for taking dirty money and calls him out on his concern for his daughters, only when it concerns the left.

ya think romney or the other flunkies are going after obamas throat. lets not hold our breaths. the clowns are too busy being civil.

Sarah has stepped into the mud and is trading punches, turning the slut back on obama. the other weenies are sitting around on their thumbs.

I want to make sure that I’m clear about something. I’m NOT saying or even suggesting that his daughters are “fair game” as a target for criticism. As far as I’m concerned, they are completely off limits.

What I am saying is that Obama has used them so often–especially with this week’s press conference–as a moral high ground shield that it’s fair for conservatives to use them as a moral high ground sword.

Conservatives should be asking Obama why, if he’s all about people paying their fair share, he’s insisting on a policy under which women who have the wherewithal to afford their own contraception are making other people pay for it.

Palin shared that she’s never seen President Obama as a “man of valor,” and so isn’t surprised that he has “accepted” this “dirty money” while remaining mum about Maher’s comments.

I thought this would be the part of the conversation that would get the MSM all wee-wee’d up.

Like a pit bull with lipstick!! Yeah remember when Obama basically tried the Alinsky rules on her right after she was picked by calling her the “Mayor of Wasilly, Alaska”? Or when he basically got into a cat fight and called her a pig with lipstick?

Go get um Palin!!!!!

I wonder if Bob Dole can see what the appeal is with Rick Santorum is now? Hint hint, he portrays that he is anti-establishment like Palin does.

That Palin outclasses all of this whole menagerie of mooks by light years is a given. It’s a sign of MSM/Democrat waning impact that they inflate the likes of She’s-No-Fluke, Obama and the epically talent-free Maher.

Maher’s forum platform after all is only on cable, and a channel that attracts subscribers. They go for niches. Whatever they’re internal metrics say, they seem to think Maher’s mess makes the cut. The niche must be made up of two major segments: 1} marginals at the base of the taste scale who can stand to look at that face of his because theirs is even uglier. And 2) politically sympathetic hipster-half-wits with weak gag reflexes who get a jolt of self-validation by the mere act of nodding their heads at his uninformed babblings.

There’s likely a third segment, smaller but it may be the one that puts him over the top ratings-wise. This would be the HBO subscribers with severe mental deficiencies who tune in because they see that face and think they’ve tuned into a third-rate horror movie.

I had a “Customer Service Representative” from my cable provider, Verizon call me the other day and ask if I would like HBO ‘Free’ for 90 days.

I declined. When she asked why I was saying ‘No’ to such a great offer, I replied with these words:

“Bill Maher.”

She said, “Who’s he?”

Maybe there’s some hope for this country after all.

TimBuk3 on March 9, 2012 at 8:27 AM

The First Amendment hypocrites are like arthritic acrobats, painfully twisting themselves. It’s amusing.

What the Dems still don’t get is how potent the First Amendment attacks are becoming. We can now say with a great deal of authority that Obama is anti-Catholic with his contraception mandate. The Fluke incident reinforces the anti-Catholic bias, since she is a far-left radical who purposely targeted a Catholic institution to target them for their position on contraception insurance coverage. There is a strong anti-Catholic bias in this administration, supported by so-called devout Catholics (Sebelius and Pelosi being the prime instigators).

Now come the attacks on Freedom of Speech with the orchestrated (and wildly unsuccessful) attempt to get Limbaugh–and by extension all of talk radio–off the air. Under the guise of protecting women, they go after the free speech rights of a radio host, while ignoring similar misdeeds by leftists. What they don’t get is that an attack on one person’s free speech is an attack on all free speech.

Obama spits on the Constitution. He doesn’t care about religious freedom or freedom of speech.

Oh, but he’s a shoe-in for reelection, according to the elitists on our side of the aisle.

Let me tell you why conservatives are still behind the curve, and will STAY behind the curve in ending the double standard in journalism.

It’s becaue YOU REFUSE TO FIGHT DIRTY. I have no sympathy for you. Bill Mahar has been on the TV for decades and has repeatedly degraded not only women, but the United States of America as well. Hell, he’s even opined about the murder of Dick Cheney.

You want to get rid of Mahar and his ilk?

You STAY IN THE MAN’S FACE. You have cameras outside his house when he says something stupid – and yeah, you film his wife and kids (if the s*** stain even has any). Ask them if they subscribe to Mahar’s comments. Every time Mahar makes a crazy comment – you make a crazier one. When he says something dirty about Sarah Palin – you say something dirty about Hillary Clinton – and you escalate the battle from there.

If you’re going to fight the pig – you’re going to have to get in the mud WITH the pig.

Or you can just sit outside the pin and cry about a double standard – you’re choice, but dummies – you aren’t getting anywhere with that tactic.

Honestly – you guys are pathetic and I really don’t know what you’re waiting for. You got a President in office who has broken the constitution and YOUR GOP Establishment representatives in Congress refuse to impeach the guy. You got an LSM that is nothing more than Democratic state sponsored media – and you think you can fix all that by crying about a double standard? You think you can fix all that by putting Willard RomneyCare in the White House.

LOL – you guys are laughable.

Best line…Palin about Obama keeping the “dirty money”

“Granted, Barrack Obama has never been seen in the conventional, tradtional way of we who would describe a man of Valor”

That’s awesome…He’s not a Man of Valor…that’s so accurate.

Santorum is a status quo, establishment ‘team player’, as he himself said in the last debate.

Letterman, in his monologue Monday night, noted that the 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate attended a Yankees game during a trip to New York City, where she was honored by a special needs group. Letterman referred to Palin, Alaska’s governor, as having the style of a “slutty flight attendant.”

The “Late Show” host also took a shot Palin’s daughter, while poking fun at the Yankees’ third baseman.

“One awkward moment for Sarah Palin at the Yankee game,” Letterman said, “during the seventh inning, her daughter was knocked up by Alex Rodriguez.”

btw – The daughter he was referring to was 14 yo Willow.
