Ironically the bible is &lt;em&gt;perfectly okay&lt;/em&gt; with slavery.

THAT is the whole point: &lt;strong&gt;no government rules with the authority or approval of God when it unjustly infringes on a person&#039;s innate rights.&lt;/strong&gt;

I don&#039;t really care whether you believe in God, the Bible, or anything for that matter. But, as the saying goes, facts is facts. Trying to re-write the 18th century Christian Founders as 21st century secular &lt;em&gt;realpolitik&lt;/em&gt; philosophers is just embarrassingly sad.]]></description>
