He is a constitution scholar alright, but of Kenya.
Sticky Wicket on February 8, 2012 at 8:26 AM

There is room for agreement since he did go over there and participate in a presidential campaign for his cousin, Ordinga. Obama did advise Ordinga that if he lost, to cry voter fraud and force them to declare him the winner. Ordinga lost, cried voter fraud as Obama told him to do, but it was his killing of thousands who did not vote for him that convinced the Kenyan government to create the position of prime minister within the government and give it to Ordinga so he would stop the killing.

Ask the question of “What is a Constitutional scholar?” Sounds like it means he knows something about the Constitution, which is obviously the intent.

The term scholar simply means he was a student who attempted, or completed a study or course on the Constitution. It is a term that does not convey authority or depth of knowledge of the subject.

It is most probable that Obama did in his course of studies to become a lawyer, take a course on Constitutional Law. If he did, he is legitimately a Constitutional scholar but no expert as he is trying to pretend, on constructional law.

There is of course the claim that he taught Constitutional law in college. That claim is now that he was an adjunct lecture on the subject or perhaps related courses.

A lecturer is just someone who has knowledge of a subject that he or she presents to a group. An adjunct lecturer is less knowledgeable, or perhaps even unfamiliar with the subject.

I found most of the adjunct lecturers that I encountered in college were simply using handouts and scripted lectures from a folder kept in a filing cabinet back in the office. Calling Obama an adjunct implies he probably was presenting someone else’s lecture. With consideration of his narcissism, Obama probably saw nothing wrong with taking their lecture and calling it his.

If Obama really understood our constitution, he would realize that his problem is the constraints of a constitution that supports a Republic made up of a small federal government and strong states and individual rights, rather than the one he need; a constitution based on democratic centralized government that decides for the people what they should or should not believe or do.

Obama’s government would be the parliamentarian style of government found in European socialist countries and one, different only in the time, we rejected when we wrote our constitution. A parliament based government means the party or coalition of parties with the most seats in Parliament after an election, gets to form the government and elect the president and appoint all government officials. Once the people have voted, they are more or less out of the deal. That, Obama has lamented, is the type of government he wishes he had. He probably would not understand it any better than he does ours now, but at least he could rule rather than govern and all that hard stuff.

I wonder if he ever looks into the mirror and thinks, “What the hell am I doing here?” I know it’s what I think every time I see him.
ExpressoBold on February 8, 2012 at 8:20 AM

I have some doubts that he thinks that. Listen to what he says and how he says it. He is saying ‘I am right, I know what is best, everyone who disagrees is wrong’. Narcissists almost never see themselves as the one who is wrong.

However that said, his actions, appearance, and strange behaviors portray a psychotic Narcissist who is struggling with the reality that his reality is being rejected. We saw this last summer beginning just before his vacation in July. The joint session of Congress that followed with his “Jobs Bill” that did not exist was an effort to avert a more serious break down. He needed to be doing the one thing he can do successfully; campaigning.

Unfortunately his failure provided him not a single success to campaign on. The jobs bill provided a single message for him to campaign on that was uncomplicated and politically safe. It appears to have worked and if you notice that bill just sort of disappeared from sight.

Changes have been made and he appears to be more balanced than he was last summer and confident. One of those changes was dropping anything about the economy from his daily briefing. They said at the time it had shown to not be productive to include it.

If you follow his schedule now, the morning briefing is maybe ten or fifteen minutes which is just about enough time to do a clothing check and remind him of where he needs to be at what times to briefly meet with a member of his staff or government, perform a ceremonial event or meeting, a photo op, or more often now, the times and places of the daily fundraisers. In short, he is isolated from the more negative reports that reach his office and for anything else is prepared for his often brief involvement before he arrives.

Narcissist never see themselves as the reason for failure. Likewise, They rarely work in in isolation since that would mean there is no one to shift the failure to. They typically work in situations where they can isolate themselves from a failure by shifting the blame to someone else while at the same time claim they saw it coming, but did not have the power to stop it, thus not only avoiding blame for a failure, but advancing themselves at the same time as someone who could have prevented it if they had the authority to do so.

Obama as a narcissist has risen to a position where he must isolate himself from failure, by delegating all his responsibly and those of his government, to others, including his decisions, to insure he has deniability for all his failures. He sees Congress as the authority he must appeal to grant him more power, but since he must have it and is denied, he has no choice but to find ways to give it to himself.

As we, and world leaders and enemies have seen, he is very reluctant to make any decision that ultimately will hold him accountable for making it. His path, unless forced to do otherwise, will always be the one that does not involve his making a decision that he sees as a danger to his self percieved persona, even if it means not doing anything.

I constantly hear, “he’s doing the best he can, considering the mess he inherited”. Does it not occur to them that if this is the best he can do, we need someone who can do better? We might even get someone who is competent.

The "he inherited" line always gets me. Really? Did some old aunt or uncle, or BHO Sr put the Presidency in their will? How exactly did BHO Jr inherit it? He CHOSE to run in the primaries, he CHOSE to accept the nomination, he CHOSE to run in the general, he CHOSE to take the oath of office. Stop the g.d. whining about inheriting already!

What would you expect from a bunch of racists anyway?

I have to question why Obama thinks he's getting better as time goes on. After all, he was already a better policy wonk, speech writer, chief of staff, and everything else, than anybody else could be. We know, because he said so. So how could he get any better?

So it's Congress' fault, it's the fault of that danged system the Founders designed, it's everybody's fault but Obama's that he hasn't been able to heal the planet and make the seas recede. I guess it's hard being a Savior.

So truly, Obama did not “get better as time goes on.” He’s gotten appreciably worse at moving his agenda, and it’s his own fault.

But that's what's making him better as time goes by......the fact that he can no longer get things done.

The dork is actually right!

I'm not sure where this "Obama is smart" crap came from.
Personally, I think he's a moron.
And not just a garden variety moron, but a lying, devious, traitorous, bigoted, Marxist, anti-American, malignant moron.

Thankfully, he's also lazy, which keeps him from doing even more harm to the country than he's already done.

Four major institutions stand in the way of the complete destruction of individual liberty: The family, religion, education and the Constitution. The Democrat party has been extremely successful in all of these areas except religion. Statist tradition is to either destroy religion, or integrate it into the state.

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shown that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security.

Hey Barry, "it turns out" that the duty has been commanded for the people to decide when government has gone too far, that a great bit of leeway is given until that time is reached, but that once reached, the undesirable end must occur. You just keep trying to force your way, and your entire socialist cult will learn this lesson face to face. This is a land of laws, not of men, and the law written into the DNA of this nation permits the people to prevent being ruled by a tyrant. Don't be stupid.
