I would like to see the demographic for males and females broken out separately, since you ask it, for each of the candidates. I am happy to see Santorum edging out Gingrich in the top pie chart, and wonder also, is it true that women are turned off by the Gingrich/Callista thing, (and the Ethical Cloud?) I know I am. Crosstabs, do you have em?

here’s what the Rs should be doing at this point, rather than get in some frenzy about newt/mitt.

try to develop ways of educating people on conservative principles. This is what Palin should be doing. She was just on Hannity…i didn’t watch too much. Neither of them are helping the R party.

For example. When an inquisitive leftist/jouro asks any R candidate, you say you want to get rid of O.care…so what would you do about a 28 year old man who has cancer, but doesn’t have insurance?

What does the R say?

The left/jouno always has an easy answer (have someone else pay for it).

A lot of Rs are so thrilled to be on TV that they chatter away, and when the time comes…to answer the question, we get crickets.

I know hannity is not the brightest kid on the block, but he should as every R that question (and others). Make the pols practice their answers…they have to be trained, and the public has to be educated

In my view, she’s not “endorsing” Newt so much as endorsing the importance of keeping this primary from being a coronation of Romney after only a few states. As Newt is closest to Romney, she’s bringing up his name because he has the best chance of extending this. I happen to think that is a good thing. I don’t want this to be over too soon. I’d like to see Mitt, Newt, and Rick carry this thing to the end. I think it’s good. I think it’s healthy.

It is actually very sad that Sarah Palin has abandoned the conservative movement and decided to support a raging, untrustworthy progressive like Gingrich. Gingrich stands for everything that Palin HAD fought against for many years. The conservative movement has lost an important soldier, but, I guess people do change, Sarah certainly has and the “new” Sarah is almost unrecognizable. Very, very sad.

She is not helping the cause nor herself at this point.

I have no idea, after all she’s done with the different candidates in 2010, why someone as damaged as Newt Gingrich is the hill she’s chosen to die on. It boggles the mind.

Surely, surely, if she wanted, from the beginning she could have dispatched Newt as a phony conservative and given a full-throated endorsement to Santorum to bring him into second place and give him all the free media and donations he needed. Why she chose Newt over Santorum I’ll never know.
