You dumb racist conservatives are dumb. And racist.

posted at 12:20 pm on January 27, 2012 by Jazz Shaw

I first caught wind of this story from our good friend Fausta, and it seems like a suitably silly note to help wrap up an already strange and unusual week. We’ve got a brand spanking new, rootin’ tootin’ study, fresh off the press from a distinguished group of scientists. (And I can tell they were scientists because I checked, and most of them were wearing white lab coats.) In it, we find what we already suspected about the party that hates science, clings to their guns and their God, and disapproves of Barack Obama not because of his damaging policies, but because he’s black. Yep… you guessed it. Turns out that conservatives are stupid. And racist.

There’s no gentle way to put it: People who give in to racism and prejudice may simply be dumb, according to a new study that is bound to stir public controversy.

The research finds that children with low intelligence are more likely to hold prejudiced attitudes as adults. These findings point to a vicious cycle, according to lead researcher Gordon Hodson, a psychologist at Brock University in Ontario. Low-intelligence adults tend to gravitate toward socially conservative ideologies, the study found. Those ideologies, in turn, stress hierarchy and resistance to change, attitudes that can contribute to prejudice, Hodson wrote in an email to LiveScience.

“Prejudice is extremely complex and multifaceted, making it critical that any factors contributing to bias are uncovered and understood,” he said.

But… but… wait a minute here! I thought IQ tests were useless and reflected environmental effects at a far greater level of impact than any inherent capacity to acquire and retain knowledge? I’m almost sure I read that in Gods and Guns Monthly or something. But, as Fausta points out, James Taranto beat me to the punch.

So IQ tests are racist, except when they’re used to “prove” that people with “socially conservative ideologies” are racist and intellectually inferior.

TheRoot.com has an article arguing that the Republican presidential candidates are racist. It’s about as uninteresting an argument as you can find–but the headline is revealing: “Colorblind Racism: The New Norm.” That Orwellian term, “colorblind racism,” is the pithiest summation we’ve ever encountered of the absurdity of contemporary left-liberal racial dogma.

It also turns out to be a product of academia: The idea of “colorblind racism” was hatched by Eduardo Bonilla-Silva, a professor of sociology at Duke University, a decade ago. Here’s a paper on the subject from the journal Critical Sociology.

Taranto goes on to posit that some of these completely unbiased, intellectually curious academic institutions may have something of a vested interest in proving their point. You see, as the economy continues to falter and conservative, austerity leaning measures begin to take hold and spread at both the state and federal levels, the wellspring of cash which fuels the universities begins to dry up as well. And not to cast aspersions on anyone’s intellectual honesty here, but coming up with a result that casts doubt on the people threatening to dry up your grant money might not be the worst outcome in the world.

But don’t take my word for it. Click through and read both the results of the study and Taranto’s rebuttal. (And for you conservatives in the audience, that would be the left button on your mouse. Frankly, I’m amazed you figured out how to turn the computer on in the first place.)

Political persuasion is determined by Phrenology, as any educated person would know. Size of skull, number of protuberances along the surface, whether eyebrows are thick or scanty, thickness of bone about the brow, disposition of hair on the brow, general configuration of skull vis a vis the neck. All of these and more determine the political leanings of a person. An adept at the science, by visual observation and manual examination about the skull surface, can determine with a high degree of certainty whether a human subject is liberal, conservative, or has criminal tendencies..

Every race has it’s miscreants and here in Kentucky, we still have special names for those miscreants. It’s entirely possible that we are “dumb racist conservatives”, if we use a certain name to refer to a lowlife from a particular race (even white people), but that’s ok, we’re just dumb hillbillies and don’t know any better. Go ahead, try and make us stop.

Here is a debunking of the lefties’ attempt to try to label conservatives as “stupid”:

http://wmbriggs.com/blog/?p=5118

It seems as if the meaning of ‘conservative” has lost its original meaning, also. Conserving means, in one definition, to preserve. I would say the lefties are more conservative than conservatives as they do not want things to change from the way they have known them: they don’t want the Earth to change, they don’t want the entitlement system to change, they don’t want to change a useless President…so, in other words, the lefties are conservatives, yes?

Recently, I too conducted a survey of the intelligence of 32,000 children; 16,000 children came from families in which both parents and all four grandparents were Democrats, and 1600 children came from conservative families or from legal immigrants.

Surprisingly, after balancing the answer key to allow for the Democratic children’s answers to be considered correct and used as a control answers, and checking the conservative children’s answers against these newly-designated correct answers, I found the answers of children raised in conservative home environments to be particularly dumb compared to the answers given by the children of Democrats.

Furthermore, when the Democrat children’s answers were weighted to reveal the emotional content of thier answers and to promote high self-esteem, the children of Democratic showed themselves to be absolutely brilliant, and the children of conservatives to be idiots – and not the savant kind.

This lends itself to an appallingly good understanding of the social implications of gene theory, and the increasing incidence of haphazard marrying and childbearing. It also may give impetus, for the first time since the advent of Social Darwinism, to strong calls for government prohibition of conservative couples marrying, and from bearing genetically inferior children.

MLK hated Goldwater republicans with a passion. Go read his sermons. liberal4life on January 27, 2012 at 3:03 PM

Goldwater integrated his department stores and the AZ National Guard, and was a member of the NAACP.

We were about the only Republicans in our neighborhood when I was a kid. My parents both worked for the party as precinct judges etc on election days.

We were referred to as the neighborhood n*r lovers. I was one of the few kids in the ‘hood allowed to play with Carlos, whose Spanish parents were naturalized.

My dad was ostracized for pulling bleeding black kids out of a car after an accident and calling the ambo. Klansmen including the Grand Dragon of MD lived in our development. They would walk into saloons handing out fliers and trying to get people to meetings.

My views on race are what I was brought up with in the ’60′s. I had a liberal period in and after college when I declared myself an atheist and a commie, but I got better with counseling.

All this to say that the GOP didn’t go from non-racist to racist. It has been attracting conservative Dems and independents. The Dems remaining in their party are far-leftists generally, with trouble thinking logically, and they have emotional problems based on guilt and pity issues.

They want to inflict pain to assuage guilt, both on themselves and others. This pain is deserved, so they can sadistically hurt those who deserve it (evil Americans who had slaves and killed Indians), and they want to hurt themselves at the same time because they are Americans deserving punishment. They don’t think overtly in these terms, but this is their mindset. Including you.

Roger Hedgecock is a former mayor of San Diego.

by Roger Hedgecock

12/09/2011

I live in California. If you were wondering what living in Obama’s second term would be like, wonder no longer. We in California are living there now.

California is a one-party state dominated by a virulent Democratic Left enabled by a complicit media where every agency of local, county, and state government is run by and for the public employee unions. The unemployment rate is 12%.

California has more folks on food stamps than any other state, has added so many benefits and higher rates to Medicaid that we call it “Medi-Cal.” Our K-12 schools have more administrators than teachers, and smaller classes but lower test scores and higher dropout rates with twice the per-student budget of 15 years ago. Good job, Brownie.

This week, the once and current Gov. Jerry “Moonbeam” Brown had to confess that the “balanced” state budget adopted five months ago was billions in the red because actual tax revenues were billions lower than the airy-fairy revenue estimates on which the balance was predicated.

After trimming legislators’ perks and reducing the number of cell phones provided to state civil servants, the governor intoned that drastic budget reductions had already hollowed out state programs for the needy, law enforcement and our schoolchildren. California government needed more money.

Echoing the Occupy movement, the governor proclaimed the rich must pay their fair share. Fair share? The top 1% of California income earners currently pays 50% of the state’s income tax.

California has seven income tax brackets. The top income tax rate is 9.3%, which is slapped on the greedy rich earning at least $47,056 a year. Income of more than $1 million pays the “millionaires’ and billionaires’” surcharge tax rate of 10.3%.

Brown’s proposal would add 2% for income over $250,000. A million-dollar income would then be taxed at 12.3%. And that’s just for the state.

Brown also proposed a one-half-cent sales tax increase, which would bring sales taxes (which vary by county) to 7.75% to 10%. Both tax increases would be on the ballot in 2012.

The sales tax increase proposal immediately brought howls of protest from the Left (of Brown!). Charlie Eaton, a sociology grad student at UC Berkeley and leader of the UC Student-Workers Union, said, “We’ve paid enough. It’s time for millionaires to pay.”

At least five other ballot measures to raise taxes are circulating for signatures to get on the 2012 ballot in California. The governor’s proposals are the most conservative.

The Obama way doesn’t end with taxes.

The governor and the state legislature continue to applaud the efforts of the California High Speed Rail Authority to build a train connecting Los Angeles and San Francisco. Even though the budget is three times the voter-approved amount, and the first segment will only connect two small towns in the agricultural Central Valley. But hey, if we build it, they will ride.

And we don’t want to turn down the Obama bullet-train bucks Florida and other states rejected because the operating costs would bankrupt them. Can’t happen here we’re already insolvent.

If we get into real trouble with the train, we’ll just bring in the Chinese. It worked with the Bay Bridge reconstruction. After the 1989 earthquake, the bridge connecting Oakland and San Francisco was rebuilt with steel made in China. Workers from China too. Paid for with money borrowed from China. Makes perfect sense.

In California, we hate the evil, greedy rich (except the rich in Hollywood and in sports, and in drug dealing). But we love people who have broken into California to eat the bounty created by the productive rich.

Illegals get benefits from various generous welfare programs, free medical care, free schools for their kids, including meals, and of course, instate tuition rates and scholarships too. Governor Perry , California has a heart. Nothing’s too good for our guests.

To erase even a hint of criticism of illegal immigration, the California Legislature is considering a unilateral state amnesty. Democrat State Assemblyman Felipe Fuentes has proposed an initiative that would bar deportation of illegals from California.

Interesting dilemma for Obama there. If immigration is exclusively a federal matter, and Obama has sued four states for trying to enforce federal immigration laws he won’t enforce, what will the President do to a California law that exempts California from federal immigration law?

California is also near fulfilling the environmentalist dream of deindustrialization.

After driving out the old industrial base (auto and airplane assembly, for example), air and water regulators and tax policies are now driving out the high-tech, biotech and even Internet-based companies that were supposed to be California’s future.

The California cap-and-trade tax on business in the name of reducing CO2 makes our state the leader in wacky environmentalism and guarantees a further job exodus from the state.

Even green energy companies can’t do business in California. Solyndra went under, taking its taxpayer loan guarantee with it.

No job is too small to escape the regulators. The state has even banned weekend amateur gold miners from the historic gold mining streams in the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

In fact, more and more of California’s public land is off-limits to recreation by the people who paid for that land. Unless you’re illegal. Then you can clear the land, set up marijuana plantations at will, bring in fertilizers that legal farmers can no longer use, exploit illegal farm workers who live in hovels with no running water or sanitation, and protect your investment with armed illegals carrying guns no California citizen is allowed to own.

The rest of us only found out about these plantations when the workers’ open campfire started one of those devastating fires that have killed hundreds of people and burned out thousands of homes in California over the last decade.

It was said after California’s Proposition 13 in 1978 cut property tax rates and was copied in other states, that whatever happened in California would soon happen in your state.

You’d better hope that’s wrong

liberal4life on January 27, 2012 at 1:01 PM

This is one of the silliest and most ignorant comments I have seen in years. Funny how these so-called ‘liberals’ always fall back on calling other people racist, yet it is they who so constantly bring up the topic of color. It is also interesting that theses same folks were perfectly fine with having a former KKK officer and a man who filibustered the Civil Rights Amendment in the Senate for years as one of their primary spokesmen. There is no comparable Republican example. Must I remind you that Bull Connor – like the afore-mentioned Senator Byrd – was a Democrat? As were most of those protesting the desegregation movement. The Jim Crow South was a DEMOCRAT-dominated place. Only since desegregation have Republicans begun to make headway in that region. Read your history before offering ignorant fallacies like this one, please.

As for RomneyCare, under federalism, states are permitted to do things that the federal government is prohibited from doing. The Constitution rather clearly states this – please see Article I, Sections 8-10 and then refer to the the Tenth Amendment. And RomneyCare was one such experiment. But there are also the facts that 1) Romney’s law was and remains indisputably Constitutional under Massachusetts law and 2) his law was a bipartisan endeavor. Neither of those conditions is applicable to ObamaCare. Rather, Obama’s brutish attempt to dictate what products we the people must purchase is obviously un-Constitutional under almost any reading and if we had a Supreme Court composed of principled judges, we wouldn’t even be stressing – we would know that it has no chance of being upheld. Unfortunately, Anthony Kennedy is almost impossible to predict, and he is the swing vote. Sigh.

To conclude, if you actually speak to conservatives and Republicans (and they are not exactly the same thing), you would know that RomneyCare is one of the main reasons why Romney has such soft support. There is great suspicion of Governor Romney BECAUSE he passed ( and continues to support) a law that is similar in many ways to Obama’s abomination. In fact, Mitt Romney is not the preferred choice of most conservatives – the TEA Party in particular would prefer a different candidate. Many of them were actually Hermain Cain fans until his personal failings became known. But I would suspect that the TEA Party learned in 2010 with some of the failures that sometimes it is better to take what one can get instead of shoot for the moon and get nothing. It’s called being practical. And this is especially important since the national media has taken it upon itself to attempt to destroy any Republican who dares to run for national office. As an aside, this is almost certainly the main reason that Mitch Daniels’ wife refused to let him run – she knew that while Democrat families are coddled and allowed almost total privacy by the media (see Amy Carter, Chelsea Clinton, and the Obama girls), Republican families in stark contrast are harassed, libeled, slandered, threatened, mocked, insulted and constantly at risk of physical violence – see the Bush daughters and the Palins for the two most recent examples.

The Worldwide Pattern of IQ Scores. East Asians average higher on IQ tests than Whites, both in the U. S. and in Asia, even though IQ tests were developed for use in the Euro-American culture. Around the world, the average IQ for East Asians centers around 106; for Whites, about 100; and for Blacks about 85 in the U.S. and 70 in sub-Saharan Africa.
