“But until Brian Williams called ‘time,’ it was Mr. Gingrich that seemed knocked back on his heels by the relentless assault from Mr. Romney…

“Today, the mild-mannered Mr. Romney is gone.

“‘You can call it whatever you like. I call it influence peddling,’ Mr. Romney said, looking straight at his chief rival. ‘It is not right. You have a conflict.’

“He continued to criticize Mr. Gingrich: ‘You spent 15 years in Washington, on K street. This is a real problem.’”

I’ll admit, I was itching for Gingrich to just go nuclear on Mitt tonight.

But, it WAS pretty smart strategy to let Mitt do his thing.

Newt tried to be ‘presidential’ – esp. to the party and to party donors.

… Mittens was allowed to go on and on and on with misinformation and attack speaking points.

Newt took the time to gather his thoughts, and respond defending himself with precise, clear, short answers that cut to the point…

He was initially only given 30 seconds for Pete’s sake…

… What would you have done?

Newt did fine. The polls will fluctuate, but one thing is for sure, Mittens is scared.

Wait for Obowma’s “Dictator Speech” tomorrow, then the next debate on Thursday…

Vote for whoever you want…

… But why not build up your candidate on his record, instead of the attacks.

Sounds like you should be working for the Democrats…

As a Mittbot, Romney did beat Gingrich. Come on, admit it Gingbots.

I will admit that the debate will likely not have a major effect on the polls. Gingrich is still gaining.

But, at least Romney showed Gingrich’s hypocrisy.

Behold delusional Gingbots, Gingrich is a supporter of ethanol and sugar subsidies. Bow down to your Tea Party leader.

Oh, I am so looking forward to taunting Gingbots relentlessly if Romney wins FL. If he loses, I will bow my head in shame and take my Gingtard lashings.

Best line of the night is by Gingrich

“So, why don’t we invite the lovely ladies in the audience on stage, I want to make this debate more “open.” Mitt, what are you staring at, don’t look at me, I will cheat on my wife on your wife so fast your head will spin.”
