New book “Everything Obama Knows About the Economy” is completely blank

posted at 12:45 pm on December 20, 2011 by Tina Korbe

Tennessee banker Jimmy Moncrief just self-published his first book — a 150-page stunner called “Everything Obama Knows About the Economy.” Those who buy it won’t have much to read: Every page of the book is blank. No matter: Moncrief has already sold hundreds of copies as Christmas gag gifts.

The Daily Caller’s Alex Pappas, with more:

Moncrief said the book was inspired by a similar gag book from Sheridan Simove, who wrote a 200-page bestselling collection of blank pages called: “What Every Man Thinks About Apart From Sex.”

He self-published the book and sells it on Amazon and on his website. He describes the book as “a humorous talking point” that “can also be used very effectively as a notebook.” A couple cigar shops in Chattanooga are also carrying them, Moncrief said.

“Where I live, there’s just so much hatred for Obama,” said Moncrief, an independent voter who says he doesn’t support any GOP candidate this cycle.

“I like capitalism so I was like, ‘how can I make money off this.’ It’s just a funny gift, you know? I just wanted to get people to laugh,” he said.

If that doesn’t show the beauty of capitalism, I don’t know what does.

Here, he presents his authorial interpretation of his own work. Brilliant.

What a great idea this is! A new line of blank books could perfectly represent the Emperor-Has-No-Clothes mentality of the modern Democratic Party–an unethical group that believes you can spend money you don’t have, lie about it, and hates America and wants to be Europe again (putting them very firmly on the wrong side of history).

The blank book series could rival the “Books for Dummies” and “Idiot’s Guides To This and That Thing,” and the titles that could go into the series should be quite endless.

Do you have some suggestions?

How about “The Democratic Party Guide To Decency, Honor, Respect, Integrity and Hard Work!”

And “The Top Reasons George Washington And Thomas Paine Would Be Proud Of The Democratic Party in 2012.”

Do you have some suggestions?

“Harry Reid Passes a Budget”

“How Obama Killed Bin Laden”

“French Strategies for Military Victory”

“The Best Ideas of Occupy Wall Street”

“Debbie Wasserman-Schultz Tells It Like It Is”

“Pearls of Wisdom by Chris Matthews, Rachel MAddow, Ed Schultz and the gang at MSNBC”

The fact that this book even has pages in it gives Barry too much credit.

The book was not original either.

Here’s the thing that America still doesn’t get about Obozo … it’s not that he’s so economically ignorant (although he is) but HE’S DESTROYING OUR ECONOMY ON PURPOSE!

Samantha on December 20, 2011 at 6:26 PM

Okay, wait a minute: How about delivering at least some content? For example, this proposed title from my earlier post, “The Democratic Party Guide To Decency, Honor, Respect, Integrity and Hard Work!” could include classic dated and attributed quotes on individual pages from the most thoughtful leftist luminaries. Immortal quotes could receive the longevity in book form they deserve, such as those revolving around the notion that Republicans are all evil, or should go straight to hell, or that those who believe in sober financial objectives are simply masking their plans for mass annihilation of the populace.

98% of what Hollywood sells to the ignorant masses isn’t original either. They also make a bunch of money for nothing.

I get a kick out of the link Amazon placed under the book: “Tell the Publisher: I’d like to read this book on Kindle!”

Err, sure. You can do that now – and you don’t even have to turn the Kindle on!

review on Amazon – too funny:

By Bob – See all my reviews

This review is from: Everything Obama Knows About The Economy (Blank Inside) (Paperback)

It is highly unusual to find a book that breaks down a broad and complex topic such as U.S. economic policy with clarity. However, Mr. Moncrief has done just that with this remarkable analysis of President Obama’s economic mindset. The President’s overall approach to this vital area is distilled down to its very essence in a concise manner that does not leave the reader wanting more despite the book’s inarguable brevity. Moncrief resists the temptation to generate a wonkisk tome on what is often a dry and esoteric subject and delivers a very readable book, even for those unitiated in global economics.

We can only hope that this is but the first in a series of compelling policy assessments from Mr. Moncrief.
