Ben Bradlee on the Cain accusations: “I think he’s got it coming to him, doesn’t he?”

posted at 9:10 pm on November 4, 2011 by Allahpundit

Via the Daily Caller, I watched this early this morning and still can’t figure out why he’d say it. Is he … joking? Mistaking Cain for someone who has a proven track record of harassment? Simply wishing ill upon the Republican demon du jour? Or is there another explanation?

On the one hand, he’s 90. On the other hand, he seems perfectly lucid. On the other hand, he’s 90. Seriously, what’s this supposed to mean?

Ben Bradlee’s choice of words shows him to be a racist and an elitist.

On the other hand he’s drunk. Hey, if they can accuse Gov. Perry, I can accuse this old fart.

“I think he’s got it coming to him, don’t you?” “He’s achieved a lot. His race didn’t bother him at all in those achievements, so don’t bring up his race now when he stumbles.”

Bradley summed it up well. Race was not a factor when Cain succeeded without the democrat party and their handouts. Therefore, it is not a factor now. One can only cry racism if they have played the race card all along, and white liberals were permitted to ride in on their hypocritical horses and “save them.”

In the 1930s through the 1950s Washington, DC had the most racists of any town in America. The powers that be in DC included the Dixiecrats, the KKK and the Freemasons. None of those power players in powertown were about to let any black man compete on a level playing field.

So at age 90 the mind of a child returns.

That hug and a peek down the dress could be taken as sexual harrassment

Forget Woodward and Bradlee…this clip is worth the price of admission just watching the strangely alluring and kinda hawt bespectacled Michelle Fields, complete with plunging neckline in action.
