Jason Mattera to Joe Biden: So you’re really going to sell this jobs bill by talking about rape, huh?

All of our readers know who Mattera is, I take it, including/especially the HA old-schoolers. Here’s his tete-a-tete with Biden today; the look on Greasy Joe’s face as he walks away made me laugh out loud, just because it’s so wonderfully clear that he really does think this is super-smart salesmanship. Since he’s taking this “you’re either with us or you’re with the rapists” logic seriously, I have to ask again: How did he and The One decide on the optimal amount of money for first responders in the new jobs bill, or as I’m now calling it, The Federal Rape Prevention Act of 2011? According to Tapper, they want $5 billion for cops (and firefighters) and … $30 billion for teachers. Important jobs all, but if we’re forced to choose between smaller class sizes in public schools and less rape, I’m thinking most of us want more money for the latter than for the former. How come Obama and Biden don’t agree? Are they really just pitiful stooges for the teachers’ unions? Or are they just soft on rape?
The very first question at the next Solyndra hearing should be, “How many rapes could Democrats have prevented by giving that $535 million to cops instead?”

20 years after the USSR went the way of the Dodo, they’ve still not figured out how to run that former nation, and the law of the jungle prevails across the board in what used to be the world’s largest Third World country, albeit one with a massive amount of nukes.

I can’t get my head around the idea of police arriving in time to prevent rape when someone calls 911. When seconds count, the police are always minutes away — no dishonor on them — that’s just the way it is. There’s no “Rape Patrol”. They might arrest and confine rapists after the crime, but unless society punishes rapists enough to deter the act, rape rates won’t drop. A jobs bill that hires a few more cops isn’t going to affect rape rates.
So, maybe he means Republicans, by opposing this bill, will enrage the #Occusheep more, leading them to rape more? Could be.

Don’t know if anyone remembers this – but Joe Biden was pronounced by the LSM as the “winner” of the VP debate he had with Palin in ’08 simply on the basis of how convincing he was at lying.
It was damned frustrating – because Palin came with the facts on her side and damned well knew she’d get skewered if she said something false. She went the whole debate and killed Biden with the facts.
And every time the facts became inconvenient for him, he simply lied.
In one exchange Palin told the crowd that Obama had said that his cap and trade regs would severely impact coal power plants and cause energy prices to skyrocket.
Obama absolutely said that. Joe denied it.
When she pointed out that Biden HIMSELF had said that he opposed clean coal plants in the US – something that was all over YouTube at the time – Biden just denied it.
LOL – and he got points in debating for looking like he believed the lies he was telling.
