EvacuateOnWallStreet?

You know, I’ve been to a number of Tea Party events. I’ve seen plenty of national and local coverage of Tea Party rallies and activists. And while some have accused those activists and attendees of dumping on the poor — unfairly — at least in that case it was meant figuratively (via JWF):
This are the shocking scenes that have led some people to accuse the Occupy Wall Street protesters living rough in New York’s financial district of creating unsanitary and filthy conditions.
Exclusive pictures obtained by Mail Online show one demonstrator relieving himself on a police car.
Elsewhere we found piles of stinking refuse clogging Zucotti Park, despite the best efforts of many of the protestors to keep the area clean.
The shocking images demonstrate the extent to which conditions have deteriorated as demonstrations in downtown Manhattan enter their fourth week.
I’ll skip putting up the picture, but be sure to follow the link for the, er, money shot. Instead, just marinate in the irony of this shot from CNS News:
Protestors at Freedom Plaza in Washington, D.C., are promoting a wide range of causes, including saving the planet, even though their protest site is littered with trash and protest paraphernalia.
One sign, lying near a trashcan and a grassy area covered with sleeping bags, plastic bags, chairs, and other belongings, states, “We the People Say Planet Before Profits.”
Lest one think that this is an outlier, the Daily Mail has a few other pictures of the prodigious amount of waste piling up at the occupation. Like I said, I’ve been at a number of Tea Party events, and the one consistent quality of them is the respect for public property given by the attendees. They leave the grounds cleaner than they found them in most cases, which probably comes from their reluctance to seize property that doesn’t belong to them.
Business Insider passes along this graphic that further explores the irony, or hypocrisy, of the Occupy Wall Street movement against eeeeeevil corporations:
This would be hilarious, except that we all know who will pay the costs of cleaning up after this literal and figurative defecation, don’t we? It’s not going to be these slackers.

Rumor has it that it was Paul Krugman trying to take a dump on the cop car; issue arose relating to arugula and how it does not help Michelle Obama’s digestive health program for America. Krugman was supposed to be a “test case” but failed to make it because arugula didn’t produce the desired result. He thought he could do it on a cop car, but…. too much cheese.
/I think it was ABC or CBS… Not sure.

I think the protesters are idiots and I’m sure they are leaving a mess everywhere they go, but that pic doesn’t show a lot of trash. It seems to be all sleeping bags and signs that are undoubtedly meant to be used in the future.

It’s a piece about the 15 year anniversary of Fox News. Samples:
Brilliant Satire! What the Guardian fails to tell its “readers” at the link is who the “writer” of the piece is.
None other than one Matthew Butler, the current head of…Media Matters.

It seems the Atlanta Occupiers didn’t allow “Civil Rights Hero” and Congressman John Lewis speak at their event. Looks like they didn’t read the Diversity Guide by which tea parties are judged.

I followed this through to the guardian story; and now I’m confused.
Guardian comments have a “vote up/vote down” system of red & green arrows. The “top” voted comment currently starts:
But the protesters are the “99%” as I’ve heard from them for the past week… and only the “1%” could oppose them.
I guess all of the 1%, and almost none of the 99% read the Guardian.
Or the 1% have tricksy computer hackers rigging the voting.
Or maybe the 1% have magical mind control rays that are persuading most of the 99% that taking all the possessions form those who earn them to give them to the unemployed is a bad plan.
Or maybe that the 99%/1% is bad math and their “99%” actually has much less than 50% of the support; and the voting is correct.
But how likely can that be? Occam’s Razor and all; I’m pretty sure that means it has to be mind control rays from those evil ultra-rich.

In their hypocrisy, their consumption is good It’s yours they don’t like. I once had a discussion like this with a college. After a lengthy discussion about the relative merits of computer speakers at about 20 dollars for his Apple laptop, just for travelling, he had top of the range hifi ones for home, we got to politics. I said I thought it was great that many Chinese people no-longer lived in poverty. He dismissed that because “consumption is bad”.

Whaaaaaaaaa GIMME GIMME GIMME. We have at least 2 generations who never made it past the 2 YEAR OLD phase in their lives. Those TERRIBLE TWO’s. Hurling themselves on the ground, crying and screaming and making absolutely no sense with what they are saying. Throwing their toys around and pooing in their pants.
GROW UP TROPHY KIDS. The party’s over, all the cake is eaten and there’s no more Kool Aide. Blame your Tenured Professors for the high cost of the education you bought with loan that resulted in a JUNK BOND DIPLOMA. Not worth the paper it’s printed on. Better consider a PLAN B because your parents are running out of dough and can’t keep you anymore.
MAYOR BLOOMBERG – wake up this disgusting mess in lower Manhattan is driving away tourists and costing the good taxpayers of NYC a fortune. It’s time to send the WHAAAAAAAAA GIMME GIMME slackers back to their rooms.

I watched as much of the video of the Atlanta protest as I could stomach; it was astounding. Was that repetition technique novel, or is that some new ultra liberal gimmick? What idiots they all appear to be.

I told my FIL that I don’t want them in NY till these scums of the earth are outta there. My MIL goes on business trip to give seminars about the adoption agency that belongs to the family, http://eaci.com Click to see the adopted cuties!
Our most recent trip we stayed darn in the middle of Times Square (by the red seats!!) So I don’t want them exposed to this filth-not that NY is the cleanest city, but still!
I hope Allahpundit has stocked up on kitteh food. He has to take pics so we can see.

It’s too bad that it is not October 2012. It would be a big help for the Republican candidate.

Why doesn’t the Tea Party get the funds to produce a TV ad . . . something that everyone will see . . . and run on CNN, MSNBC and maybe the alphabet networks . . . that compares who made a mess and who didn’t? You have to know that most people just don’t pay any attention. The media is defending “Occupy …” so most people just don’t know there is a huge difference.
It could be a 15 sec. spot or even a 30 sec. spot. Just highlight the garbage in WI and Wall Street, etc. vs. Tea Party rallies. Wouldn’t even need much in narration. Because if there aren’t any spoken words people have to watch.
Voter from WA State on October 10, 2011 at 11:47 AM
Unions are using this try to become relevent again and the WH is assisting them. We have about 13 more months of this garbage. One thing that will help (I hope) is that the WH will be in full re-election mode in about 5 months. That should take some of their attention on their support of unions.

In antiquity, beseiging armies would often fall victim to plagues caused by unsanitary living conditions. These ‘Beseige Wall Street’ clowns could start their own similar outbreak.

NYC is supposed to get an inch of rain tomorrow (Wed) night, and Wall Street will soon be a damp camp.
Let’s see if the protests are intense in tents, or if these spoiled brats run home to Mommy.
And who will pick up their soggy, stinking garbage”? Probably people working for a “corporation”…
