Yet, Allah you never let up on Romney. You take every shot you can to undermine him. Romney will come out on top and take it to Obama in the debates.

I do not understand how people like to rip on Romney when the guy is solid and gets the support for no other reason because he is a brilliant guy and KNOWS what it takes to be successful.

He’s probably right, unfortunately.

Right now, if both you and your spouse worked and one of you dies, the survivor only gets to collect on one of the SS benefits….the higher one. A widow can collect her husband SS but then loses her own.

Perry should point out that with a private account your spouse gets the benefit of what both of you put into your retirement.

He explained it himself in his statement…he thinks Romney is the only one who can win the general, and beating Obama is paramount.

Anyone from MI that could contact him and ask why? I don’t know if McCotter answers his constituents or not, but worth a try.

I don’t live in KY, but I emailed Rand Paul and received a very nice reply and add’l emails keeping me up to date on what he’s doing in the Senate. I thot that was unexpectedly nice:-)

“Perry can’t win” soundbites get, the greater the risk of a self-fulfilling prophesy if Perry does in fact become the nominee.

It’s a slam dunk gurantee that Perry can’t win.

Perry has Obama Solyndra problems. From American Thinker today (excerpts):

Solyndra had George Kaiser, mega-fund-raiser for Obama. Convergen had David Nance, mega-donor for Perry. Nance is the founder of Convergen. Despite several business and personal bankruptcies — including previously failed companies partially funded by the state — Nance managed to donate $335,000 to Perry’s campaigns, association fundraisers, and foundation.

As in the case of Solyndra, Convergen received help in circumventing the normal process. This part is very murky. Somehow, the proposal that failed the regional review was presented at the closed-door session of the state advisory panel (which previously included Nance), where it was approved. While the governor’s office claimed that an appeal was filed, there is no appeals process in ETF’s charter. The process by which Convergen received $4.5 million — the highest amount ever awarded — was “extraordinary.”

Making the case for tackling cronyism, reducing the size of government, and decentralizing the corrupting power of a central government will be very difficult for a politician renowned for political favoritism.
