The Hugh Hewitt Show, with Ed Morrissey
posted at 3:01 pm on August 22, 2011 by Ed Morrissey
Today and on Wednesday, The Ed Morrissey Show will be pre-empted by my guest hosting appearance on the Hugh Hewitt Show at 6 pm ET! We have some great guests on tap tonight:
You can watch my end of the broadcast and participate in our dynamic chatroom on the permanent TEMS page — be sure to join us, and keep up with the debate on my Facebook page, too! Don’t forget to check out the troll-free Hughniverse — be sure to join today!
We’ll also cover the the case of Marizela Perez, who has been missing in the Seattle area for more three months. Marizela’s case has a connection here at Hot Air, as she is the cousin of the Boss Emeritus, Michelle Malkin. Michelle is trying to spread the word through Facebook and Q13Fox/KCPQ in Seattle. We want to encourage prayers for Marizela’s family, and also try to reach anyone in the area who knows where Marizela might be and ask them to contact the police.
The search has its own website now, Find Marizela, for the latest in the efforts to bring Marizela home. There is also a fund for the family to keep the search efforts going. Be sure to check there and at Michelle’s site for further developments, and keep the family in your prayers.
America’s Most Wanted is now on the case, too.
Michelle offered an update earlier this month:
Five months ago today, my 18-year-old cousin Marizela Perez vanished from the University District in Seattle near the campus of the University of Washington, where she was a freshman.
The police have made no new progress in her missing persons case. Since I last updated you in July, we’ve had no new leads or breaks — and there still has been no sign or word from Marizela.
We thank everyone around the country who continues to keep their eyes and ears open — and everyone who continues to keep Marizela and her parents in their thoughts and prayers.
I want to call attention again to the NAMUS database as an invaluable yet underutilized tool for families of the missing and law enforcement agencies …
Be sure to read it all and to keep the family in your prayers.

Or, 5 pm CT. That is, unless you live in Dallas-Fort Worth, where the turkeys here moved the show to midnight, on a tape delay. Bastards.

..at last, a HH show worth listening to. These come along infrequently; whenever that blathering “Con-Law” lawyer is out of town or headed to the Nannity GAP to engage in a hysterical, fulminating deconstruction of Pat Caddell and has Ed or Guy Benson or MKH sit in for him.
For the record, these three do an outstanding job of making the show listenable; I would gladly make sure MKH has as many In-and-Out burgers as her little heart desires to hear her dulcet commentary!
