I have nightmares about what their kids will look like until I realize that he is probably like the other Hollywood types who don”t want to disturb the cashflow by letting the beautiful lady be a woman.

Which of course includes some (many?) of the PRESSSSident, if they ever come out of the closet about it. The PRESSSidential types would surely rather rub shoulders with a liberal RINO than sip tea with some Tea Party terrorist…

OMG….wow…I think it’s you that hates him Marcus and you’re projecting it onto everyone else.

Perry is only three years young than Mitt, he’s hardly in spring chicken territory.

Plus the way was Perry’s grasping for the right words, losing his train of thought with Stewart does lend to him not having the sharpest of minds.

And it isn’t just on that show, he was terrible in the debate against Kay Baily Hutchinson and Debra Medina.

He seems like a nice good ol’boy that you would want to hang out with but he’s not very presidential….at least that’s what many of my Texan business associates say.

Plus I think Perry has a glass jaw, I don’t think he’ll be able to go head to head with Mitt in the debates.

Romney is aging and feeble. He’s the last Republican I want to see in a debate with Obama, he’d be embarrassing with his “I said it”…..”I didn’t say that”…..”I said it and I meant it!” on the same issue. He has been running for President since the morning after McCain won the primaries, and if he had any traction there wouldn’t be no money flowing into the Republican primaries with everyone STILL waiting for the Great Hope. His biggest opportunity was 2008. He’s dead in 2012, with the Tea Party. THEY HATE HIM.

Jon Stewart wasn’t hard on Perry at all and Perry still looked like an idiot grappling for words to explain his beliefs. That was the point.

Perry is the squish if he can’t cogently give details on his positions.

He gave some lame excuse to White why he woouldn’t debate him…that was some serious squish behavior.

After the night of long knives and the proclamation of RINO purge 2012. There is not a chance that Romney will be the approved tea party candidate no matter what he does and what backing he has come primary time.

If the average voter paid attention to any of the things you mention, you may have a point. Us political junkies already know these things, and that is why we already have our favorites. Unfortunately the people who decide the next election will start paying attention someone around Labor Day of next year.

Huh? Didn’t Rush Limbaugh say Mitt’s done. Didn’t Bill Burton’s SuperPac run it’s very first attack ad against Romney? Ever since Obamacare’s passage Obama/Axelrod have been giving Romney very public death hugs of praise. Tim Pawlenty’s non-attack attack on a televised debate was huge fodder in the press for several days.

To defend his position, Perry grasps for words that never come to him. Stewart out thinks him and runs circles around his ideas. This a soft setting too. It further deepens my fear that Perry would be a disaster on the stage with Obama.

And LOL…..when Perry brings up as an example, healthcare on the state level, he kind of makes the case for Mitt’s healthcare actions. Espeically when Stewart throws out the stat that 25% of Texans have no healthcare insurance, Perry says the states should handle the problem.

AP, I love your catchphrases.

I love ya-but if Palin s the nominee and offers Perry VP I hope he’ll respectful decline.
One doesn’t accept an offer to be second banana when one is more qualified to be top banana than the top banana.
You can’t convince me that a half-term conservative governor is more qualified to be president than a 3-term conservative governor.
If she had finished her term it would’ve given her more XO gravitas-but she didn’t.
