The losers in this debate have been Obama and the Democrats, the Tea Party brand and the politicians/pundits most associated with that brand.

The winners are the adults in the room: Boehner, Ryan and the politicans & pundits backing Cut Cap Balance plan/philosophy. Like Mitt Romney, who has remained focused on shining the light on Obama’s failed leadership and has stayed above the fray by not attacking or taking cheap shots for political expediency at the other candidates running for the presidency. Romney is a class act.

Never mind principles — the point is, Mitt’s the right man for the job.

That means Palin, Bachman and any of the other idiots who preened and postured for the glory of the fight need to step aside and never ever ever show their sorry faces in public again. They did nothing to help this country or our economy, they are pretenders, looking for glory at the expense of this country!!!!

So the career politicians all had their say. They all gloat about how very clever they are… while the problem is as big as ever, with no end in sight.

Mitt Romney is a businessman. That is why he is’nt willing to burn the building to make a point.

This is politics as usual, this battle is exactly what I want to stop. I want the small minded politicians to shut the hell up and fix the problems!!!!!

You don’t balance a budget, or produce even one job by the kind of spectical that went on in Washington this week.

I am happy to read one sensible post here today. i have been wondering recently if any of these so-called conservatives actually had a brain, or if Obama and Pelosi performed a lobotomy on them in the middle of the night.

Why the hell would any right thinking person get involved in this, if they are not already obligated to be involved. Nobody in this nonsense looks good. The country is not made up of only tea-party morons. I thought Christine O’Donnell would have taught people a lesson.

Michelle Bachman was an idiot, she played to the President’s tune the whole time. Talk about living up to a stereotype.

I thought she might actually have a chance. Now I know, she doesn’t have what it takes to be President.

She is exactly like Obama, only her politics are different, but the temperment and judgement are just as faulty.

She is as high as she needs to be and thankfully has little chance to move higher.

Or perhaps some other antiquated stereotype that resides in your Archie Bunker mentality?

What a shame it is that the only way you can elevate Mitt is to bash the other candidates with outrageous, utterly mean spirited non-policy-based SMEARS.

That doesn’t bode well for Romney if he has any sort of setback at all, because he’ll have nothing to remind voters of how strong he was on any of the key issues leading into the main part of primary season (my guess is that when Romney finally does either start trailing another GOP candidate in the polls or has a surprise early primary setback, he’s suddenly going to have an opinion about EVERYTHING, and will be wanting to share them with everyone, in a desperate falling attempt to find some issue to latch onto in hopes of righting his campaign).
