Domestic politics?
The attack came four days after the Norwegian Foreign Minister signed a deal with Abbas to allow the Palestinians to have an Ambassador to Norway. The day before the attack the same Foreign Minister was at the youth camp. Here is a picture of the kids in front of the Foreign Minister holding a sign saying “Boycott Israel”. The politics in Norway lately seems to concern international politics.
After the attacks, Norway’s Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg said the following:

“We’re a small country but a very proud country. No one can bomb us to be quiet. No one can shoot us to be quiet no one can ever scare us from being Norway.”

Who is he talking to? Is he really talking to a lone gunman? He is telling a lone gunman that he cannot bomb Norway into being quiet? Really? No one can bomb Norway into being quiet about what? The thing that Norway is talking the most about lately is supporting the Palestinians.
Please tell me who the Prime Minister is talking to.

The facts are still coming in, and the dust has to settle.

However the kind of revealing statement you just made shows how small a platform the anti-Muslim crowd stands on. If you see some of the earlier comments, they seem to share the same stage as this guy, except of course, they are not vocalizing killing to advance the cause.

But the rhetoric has grave consequences, because others on this small platform just need the right bit of extra to spring into actual kill mode.

What type of “political camp” ?
The “type” would be a big clue ?

isn’t that weird, that he apparently opened a facebook page only a few days before the attacks…at least this is what I read in NYT…’A Facebook page matching his name and the photo given out by the police was set up just a few days ago. It listed his religion as Christian, politics as conservative. It said he enjoys hunting, the video games World of Warcraft and Modern Warfare 2, and books including Machiavelli’s “The Prince” and George Orwell’s “1984.”’..
