Obamateurism of the Day

Hands down, this has to be the most galling thing a White House has had to put in its Transcripts session (emphasis mine):
As a consequence of that swift, decisive, and sometimes difficult period, we were able to take an economy that was shrinking by about 6 percent and create an economy that is now growing, and has grown steadily now over many consecutive quarters. Over the last 15 months we’ve created over 2.1 million private sector jobs. (Laughter.)
When your best argument on economics has become a laugh line, it’s time to rethink your economic policy.
Of course, it didn’t take long for the White House to correct the record:
It did seem a little strange — because why would Obama supporters laugh at job creation? But the matter prompted some informal wagering within the press corps on the over-under for how long it would take the White House to put an end to the laughter — especially after the link appeared at the top of the heavily trafficked Drudge site.
At 4:04 p.m. on Tuesday, the corrected transcript appeared: Laughter changed to applause, and noted with an asterisk. The White House declined comment on the record.
Ah, OK. So it’s just the rest of the country that’s laughing at Obamanomics. By the way, 2.1 million jobs in 15 months is 140,000 per month, which is just barely above the rate needed to keep up with population growth (100K-125K per month). It’s somewhat akin to bragging at a swimming meet about one’s ability to tread water. At this rate, it would take about 55 months to make up the 2.2 million jobs lost since the start of the Obama administration.

It certainly is evident which groups (who voted for Obama in 2008) he is trying to reach with these comments that only an ignorant fool would believe. Minorities, college youth, and indies. Those who vote identity politics, are ignorant of real world experiences, and those whose involvement in politics is limited to what they see on the LSM. The minorities will always vote for him, the college kids are now suffering from his policies, and the indies are going to vote the economy. It think he has lost the youth and the indies.

The gatekeeper for journalists is a journalism degree. Journalist majors are in the bottom quartile of college IQ’s. Additionally with the exception of Engineering and hard science majors, and I’m not convinced of this anymore, all the rest of the departments are filled with the rot of progressive thinking. Low IQ’s, a follower mentality and hard left progressive instructors yield brain dead robots.

My sister and brother-in-law (Bay area, CA) may not think Obama is teh Awesome any more, but they won’t admit they made a mistake by voting for him in 2008. They rather die first than admit they’ve been fooled.
Just like my co-workers here, in Philadelphia-South (i.e., Wilmington, DE).

Maybe you’ve missed the reality that this administration came into power on that fluff-messiah talk, faux foam pillars, halo ortraits, raised chin like Mussolini, solid ideas like hope and change, stopping the seas from rising?
Some day the logical rational folks on the right will realize that bing right and rational is a losing game when contrasted with free lunch, any means to an end, free sex, free baby killing, free envy of the rich (redistribution)
Talking sound economics while they offer free everything is a losing game. (they wont remember?)
The right has to be truthful and more powerful in manipulating propaganda. Fear and greed work both ways.
