Video: Netanyahu lectures Obama on why Israel’s 1967 borders are indefensible

posted at 4:10 pm on May 20, 2011 by Allahpundit

I can’t believe we have to wait another five days for the inevitable O’Reilly “body language segment” on this tete-a-tete. Good lord. The One looked like he was trying to pass a kidney stone at one point. Worst photo op evah.

Normally these Oval Office grip-and-grins begin with a few minutes of blah-blah from the president about America’s enduring bond with the other leader’s country, followed by a minute or so from that leader about the “productive discussion” they just had, and that’s it. Not this time: Netanyahu takes off here for a good seven minutes, parts of which are so cutting — the conclusion about history not giving the Jewish people another chance is simply devastating — that it’s hard to believe it was extemporaneous. In fact, by the end he’s facing Obama and addressing him personally, just to add to the theater. Bibi knew this would be his golden opportunity to pay Obama back for yesterday’s speech, and darned if he didn’t seize it. It’s riveting. O was probably completely blindsided by it too, but no doubt realized quickly that this little history lesson would soon go viral in the media and online. Hopefully no meaningful agreements were reached earlier in their private meeting, because if they were, you can forget about ‘em now.

Bibi was magnificent. Wish we could run him here in 2012.

That was most enjoyable. Barry looked like he was about to slide off the chair into a puddle on the floor.

I can’t wait for Bibi’s address to Congress.

My take.

After watching this, the difference between a gentleman of class and a classless dolt become very apparent.

Bennie should know by now that Barry doesn’t like to be lectured. He knows everything.

Five bucks says Chrissey Matthews was waiting in the wings with fresh undies and Pampers wet wipes for Dear Leader…He was stewing so bad he had to have soiled himself.

Funny how you never hear about that operation any more. Even though several movies were made about it, the only place I have ever seen one of them was on the Fox Movie Channel.

Obama needs to eject Valerie Jarrett, she is going down in the history books as the worse White House Senior advisor in the history of our country. I hope Blago does call her to testify. Jarrett was supposed to get Obama’s old Senate seat. Why Obama continues to listen to this woman is unfathomable…..does she have something on him? If Jarrett is the gate keeper you would think others in the Obama administration would start turning in their keys. Valerie Jarrett is supposed to be Obama’s Karl Rove? God Bless Bibi – it’s not the suit sitting next to you, that needs the geopolitical history lesson on Israel, it’s his below average senior advisor. Not only does the emperor have no clothes – his seamstress can’t sew.

Excellent post, King. I especially liked this line, “While Obama acted like he was listening intently, he squirmed around on the couch as if his bloomers were riding up. He knew that he was being humbled.”

Unfortunately for the U.S. and Israel, narcissists like Obama are never humbled and they always seek revenge.

Who will help Obama work out the details?
When would the transfer of the jews begin?
How many jews in each transport?
Is this the final solution for peace?

Does anyone have a link to a transcription of Mr. Netanyahu’s statement?

Has someone checked to see if BiBi left the oval office alive?

Wouldn’t you like to have been a fly on the wall when the press left the room?

I bet it was FURY AND FIRE!!!

Here you go–from the Israeli Embassy:
Statements by PM Netanyahu & Pres. Obama Following White House Meeting

There’s a FB page, The Prime Minister of Israel, http://www.facebook.com/IsraeliPM , that I liked the other day. They posted this link.

Wow. The Statesman vs the Stuntman… very very contrasting… how did Bambi let this happen ?

What Bibi delivered was nothing less than a slam dunk/home run/touch down – what ever sports metaphor can be used to complete this sentence.

To summarize
A. There is no returning to anything like the pre-1967 lines… dont even think about it… it is not happening

B.The palestinian refugee problem is one of their own making and they can keep dreaming about their “right” to “return” till the end time/rapture..or the Arab states can actually take them in and treat them like human beings instead of victim mongering

C.Israel wishes to be true to its founding idea – a Jewish state…the “refugee return” will make this idea dead and therefore cannot and will not be entertained

D. The involvement of foreign powers like the US, UK etc is an utter waste of time and taxpayer money.

Palestinians will never compromise on the above three points – this is exactly why Hamas was formed and has now emerged as the undisputed leader of the Palestinian people. Abbas is nothing more than useless junk.

This lecture was very clarifying…Obama was COMPLETELY pwned.

Israel is lucky to have a leader like Bibi… As for the United States, you cannot even call obambi a leader.
