IMO, Rush glances up at the glass off camera at his staff during this exchange and he does not make a face, but the glance tells it all…..digging a hole and trying to talk his way out of it. Rush then moves in for the “why apology” question, and clearly it does not satisfy. If looks could kill. Amazement and disappointment.

After watching these two clips, I think that there is no way that Newt can work his way out of this. He’s at least as duplicitous as Obama. Electing Newt as president guarantees Obama Care, and that guarantees an inevitable incremental loss of most of our liberties as well as financial insolvency.

I’ll enthusiastically campaign and vote for Obama rather than Newt. At least with Obama as president for another 4, there will be a growing PRINCIPLED conservative movement in America, and the responsibility for our collapsed economy will be more clear to Americans.
