Obama jokes with Oprah: I remember being born in Hawaii
posted at 7:00 pm on April 27, 2011 by Allahpundit
He should have laid on the sarcasm a bit thicker. Some people will take him seriously and soon this too will be part of Birther lore. “He said he remembers his birth. No one remembers their birth.”
I’m mildly surprised that Obama or one of his surrogates hasn’t yet pointed out the endless ways in which Trump has strayed from conservative orthodoxy. They love to tweak Huntsman that way by touting his loyal diplomatic service to the administration, knowing that it’ll turn Republican voters against him. But then, electorally, that makes sense: They don’t want to face a candidate like Huntsman in the general but they’d loooove to face Trump, or at least they’d like to keep him alive long enough in the GOP primary for him to take out some more formidable contenders. So for the time being, you won’t hear The One mention that 54 percent of Trump’s political donations have gone to Democrats; that Trump approached David Axelrod last year with an offer to take the lead on the gulf oil spill in a Huntsman-esque bit of public service; or that Trump, for all his bluster about China, has no problem with farming out his clothing line to Chinese manufacturers. You might hear that later, if and when Trump himself becomes enough of a threat they need to start tearing him down, but why mess with him right now when he’s doing them a favor? Besides, Obama’s too much of an “adult” to get down in the mud, don’tcha know.

I’ve never believed that Obama was born anywhere other than Hawaii, but I’m smart enough to understand the Birther argument.
Obviously, you are not.

He’s used illegal drugs for decades, why would he stop simply because he moved into the White House?

Did you see the story the other day about people who knew Obama when he was a kid in Indonesia recalling how he used to say that when he grew up, he wanted to become Prime Minister of Indonesia?
I don’t know anything about Indonesian law, but I’m assuming that they require their Prime Ministers to be citizens of Indonesia. Wonder why little Barry thought that he could qualify . . . .?

He may be an incredibly fun guy with a charming smile.
But he works for us.

This is a Constitutional Issue.
Obama is not eligible to be President – does not matter IF he was born in the US or not or IF the BC is a fake or not. Here is why:
1) BHO Sr was a citizen of Kenya, never applied for nor ever became an American citizen. In Aug 1961 – Kenya was a British colony – according to the British Nationality Law of 1948 (revised in 1978) – ANY child born of a British citizen ANYWHERE in the World – was a British citizen.
2) Stanly Ann Dunham was 18 when BHO was born. According to citizenship laws in 1961 (remember back then the age of majority was 21) – the US parent had to have lived in America for 5 years past the age of 14 (i.e. be 19 years old) to CONFER citizenship.
What is the tragedy is that the DNC, Senate, Supreme Court and media – did not do the job of establishing BHO’s eligibility ACCORDING TO THE CONSTITUTION and that apparently all of the Institutions (and people involved in those institutions) in America in 2008 – all held – as BHO said yesterday – the Constitutional requirement for eligibility -[Section 1 of Article Two of the United States Constitution sets forth the eligibility requirements for serving as President of the United States:
“ No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.] is simply ‘SILLINESS’.

The COLB is a legal document that can be used as prima-facie evidence in any state or federal court of law in the US. It enables you to get a drivers license, passport, etc. It is put in a computer record which makes it easier for people born in the state of Hawaii to obtain and easier for the state to retrieve. This is done in case the long form is lost from fire, water damage, age deterioration etc.
So the COLB is acceptable in any court in the US. But that isn’t good enough for birther think. They think certain people of a certain color have to jump through hoops of fire to obtain a FOIA to release the long form info even though people like them would think it ridiculous if they had to do this.
But it appears the birthers feel they are entitled to more then what the state or Feds require. They think they’re special then the rest of us poor unwashed. And they are. They are perfect candidates for the Special Olympics.
Last night I thought intelligent people would have been convinced. Boy was I wrong after reading some of the comments here today. It makes conservatives/republicans look like fools. I hope you keep it up because that will mean an O victory in 2012. You look pathetic to libertarians which the conserv movement needs for 2012.
RE: “Newspaper birth announcements“. In the 60’s, as a public service, newspapers in Honolulu back then published The Hawaii State Department of Health records of births and deaths just like any small town paper back then. If you look you will see the birth announcements are all the same size and contain the same info. Paid birth announcement ads were at the top, printed larger and contained more info.

The worst thing is that they make up things, mis-represent information, and dismiss anything and anyone that doesn’t fit their narrative. A lot of birthers seemed to be out right liars and con men and others are just intellectually challanged. See post below.
Your really gonna put on a child to know the citizenship requirements and law for obtaining the top leadership in the country they are in? Really? A child.
So by dum dum birther logic, because Obama, as a small child, aspired to be the prime minister of Indonesia, as a small child, that meant he was well aware of the citizenship requirements and laws at the time for such a position, so he must have known he was an Indonesian citizen and not and not an American. Okay when I was in kindergarten, I wanted to be a pediatrician but had no idea they had to go to college and med school, do a residency take boards or get a license. But by birther logic as a 5 year old I was suppose to know all of that or else why would I say I wanted to be a pediatrician?

We are all deeply appreciative of your profound concern. It’s so helpful whenever the far left offers caring advice to Republican on how to win, lol.

That there might be a slight flaw in the current system for deciding the eligibility of the President of the United States (acknowledging that the process is fine for simple things like obtaining a drivers license, passport, etc.).
Surely you support regulatory reforms when needed, right? Whether or not you agreed with their bills: 1) were Senators Frank and Dodd crazy for suggesting that regulations of banks needed reform; 2) were Senators McCain and Feingold crazy for suggesting that regulations of campaign finance needed reform; and 3) were Senators Sarbanes and Oxley crazy for suggesting that public company accounting needed reform?
You might not agree with Birthers about the need for a slight increase in the eligibility requirement for President, but that doesn’t make them crazy.
The strange part is that you’d rather hysterically attack them than even take 10 minutes to try to understand their point in this situation (which was not altogether invalid).

I got under someone’s skin, lol.
The fact is, social security numbers are not random, they are based on the home address listed on the application. 0bama has a Connecticut number, that’s a fact. He’s never lived in Connecticut, also a fact. That’s not a “conspiracy theory”, it’s simply a series of facts that don’t add up.
Also, a FOIA request to the US state department turned up no record of 0bama having a passport. Since we can all agree that he did, in fact, need a passport of some type to travel to Pakistan in 1981, and there is no record of him having a US passport at the time – well, what did he use? That’s not a “conspiracy theory”, it’s simply a series of facts that don’t add up.

My dad remembers being born and told his mom the details of the day his dad picked them up from the hospital. He acknowledges it could be a memory from the story of that day being told to him but there are minute, ordinary details that wouldn’t have been included in the story told to him or anyone else.
It could happen. LOL.

Too bad he wasn’t aborted in Hawaii.
afotia on April 28, 2011 at 8:06 PM
Liar.
Christopher Strunk filed the FOIA request requesting Stanley Ann Dunham or Barack Hussein Obama’s passport records. He received this letter in response:
With respect to your request pertaining to Mr. Obama, in all categories (a) through (g) above, your request does not comply with our regulations regarding requests for information pertaining to living third parties, and has been therefore been deemed invalid. Before we can process a request for a third party’s passport and similar records, we need the third party’s passport and similar records, we need the third party’s authorization as described below….

So. Why exactly did Zero seal All of his history and records the first day he took office?
Why?
Anybody?
My suggestion is: Zero is a Citizen of the World, certainly above any silly, stupid, U.S. Constitutional requirements. He doesn’t need to provide a damn thing to be dictator.
Now he’s provided ‘something’. Questions. Why was the registrar on his form a different person than the day before? Why did the doctor’s name change, according to various reports?
But aside from frivolous details on an ‘abstract’ (different than the certification language on a ‘Certificate of Live Birth’ from a day before, why are all the rest of those secreted records still missing? Many could/would have an impact on his Constitutional eligibility status. It’s almost as if he’s trying to hide many details of his life(!).
We shall see.
What is stunning as I’ve read the threads here in the last two days is the number of lefty/Soros paid hounds on HA.
You and your handlers must be very, very afraid.
Good.
We’re onto you. It’s not over until it’s over. He who laughs first laughs last, you know.
The crazy left and their drugged hero, Zero, will not – ultimately – be able to support their house of cards, or their web of lies and deceit.
We ‘proofers/rule of law-ers/Constitutionalists’ are just getting rolling.

The anti-birthers shouldn’t gloat yet. When you look past the clever and convoluted web of propaganda put forth by Obama’s team, there are nothing but problems with the documents that are supposed to prove he is who he says he is.
