I’m with equanimous on this. We are so swift to attack the left when they make crude comments about the death of a conservative, yet this guy dies and is made the butt of jokes for what reason? Because he invented a device that Obama uses? Well, we should be making jokes about the creater of the game of Golf then, or maybe insult the Wright brothers…after all, Obama spends more time jetting about on Air Force One then in the oval office. I just hope none of his family members read Hot Air. Just the thing to rub salt in the wounds of a loved one’s passing.

There’s an interesting word out there we see way to little of in this world. It’s ‘compassion’. Sure would be nice to see a little of that being spread about once in awhile.

When its creator, Hubert, had finally met his end
His ‘prompter gave me words, it fed me thoughts, it made me sound quite smart
At rodeos or children’s schools, we’re never far apart

On Air Force One, on hole sixteen my answer’s always ready
When I can gaze from side-to-side, my voice is always steady

Then one sad day I lost a friend, I called him TOTUS left
Suddenly I lost my calm, my speech no longer deft
The facade had cracked my face was flushed I tried with all my might
To look both ways but in the end I could only face the right

But now ‘prompter’s father Hubert is in a better place
I only wish that he could watch me work his screen
